Finally Exercise SeaHawk is over. 3days 2night outfield under the hot sun can be quite a killer. Sustained moderate injury on my left forearm from the exercise. Two person went to hospital. One with an accident one with a swollen arm. Well at least we beat the crap out of 3rd Guards. Capture quite a number of them as POW. Hahax
Monday we spent the whole day preparing for the Exercise. Field pack inspection vehicle inspection all the usual shit. Spent most of my afternoon sleeping. While others do work. Hahax
Tuesday we move out in the morning for the exercise. Started off with Laager. My 2IC is not around and I have to take over. Carry the MG spare barrel and 100 MG round with some ration when dismounted. Damn heavy. First dismount we did Heli insert. We had a ride of the Chinook. After that we walked a good 4 hours. Walk until I gonna die already. Damn heavy the bag. Law Tube is so much lighter. We engaged another company from our unit, Archer, as our enemy. Apparently Guards only come on Thursday... Waste time sia.. Walk through the famous river we last crossed that caused major foot rot on my Birthday that day. River Guppy. All just to engaged Archer company. Totally pointless. After that we did a tactical halt at and area and rest through the night. Morning we did mounted assault. Shoik man sit in the tank all the way. We did a few assault here and there.
When night falls we prepared for delay against guards. My 2IC was back and I was so much at ease after that. We used pre-dig shell scrapes so we didnt have to dig at all. Sleep all the way. Next morning the Guards just walk pass us. We went on to mount our vehicle and moved off. My platoon went on to assault what we believe to be a platoon of guards there. It turned out to be a company of Guards there. I managed to flank the MG gunner along with an assistant and their Platoon Commander only to get killed by their OC. The sad thing was, after my flanking is done, my whole platoon died... Hahax Sad Case.
Later on we move on but while moving one of my bike got an accident. Head butt kind. He's ok so dont worry. We had a long tactical halt due to his accident and later on we went on to assault guards. This time the whole company went. Beat the crap out of them and captured quite a number of them as POW. Even some LSV was hijacked. Hahax Wasted my platoon had to miss the fun. We combed an area with no one around. I injured my hand when packing up. The OWS turret cover dropped on me when I was putting back the feeder. Some idiot holding the bamboo poles hit the cover and it dropped on my hand. Dont worry. Nothing broken. Friday went to see the MO he gave me some Pain Killers and a week of Status. Went to SGH and same the doctor gave me pain killers.
Well now that Exercise SeaHawk is over there shouldnt be more then another 5 more outfield before ATEC. YES!! I can feel ORD coming sooN! 7+ more Months to go!!
