FINALLY!! Hahax Greendoors signed the deal to Sponsor top 3 prizes for Musique Workz!! Monday I got the number of Greendoor Studios from Azima so that Ganesh can do the calling. Sponsorship is gonna close soon so we have to settle it quick. Ganesh called Greendoors on tuesday and they decided to meet on wednesday. Ganesh Ami and I went to Greendoors studio which is at Lavender on wednesday. We made the appointment at 8pm since Ami is coming from work. Ganesh and I went over to beach road to makan first before meeting Ami. Hahax We climbed the stairs like hell... It was at the fifth floor. The interesting part of Greendoors Studio was that all their doors there were Green in color. Hahax They guy who spoke to us, Andry, was Interested to sponsor. He even wants to sponsor more then Velvet Joint! When we left the studio Ami was like jumping up and down in the rain. Hahax Friday Andry called Ganesh and we went down at 8pm after our meeting to sign the deal. It seems like he sponsored us Top 3 Prizes of recording vouchers worth a total of 1.5k. First prize with vouchers worth 750, second prize with vouchers worth of 500 and third prize with vouchers worth of 250! Its more then Focal pro man! COOL!! Now that Top three prizes are settle, We are left with one last objective. Sound system sponsorship!!

The Weekends! Yeah!! Hahax Syafiq plans to go to a Karaoke Lounge to have some fun on a satuarday evening. So we decided to go to one of the Karaoke Lounge at Orchard. The one beside Hard Rock Cafe. I went there later so I met them at around 6pm. There were eight of us there, Fathiah, Siti, Izhar's friend, Syafiq, Zabidi, Izhar, Nana and I. We all sang malay songs and most of them I never heard before. Hahax The only ones I know are ones from Wings and Awie. Hahax We had fun all the way till 8:30pm and they went to have dinner. That was the first time I had ever been to a Karaoke Lounge and it seems rather fun! Hahax Get to hear out cool malay songs that I havent heard before. After all the fun, Fathiah gave me a ride back home.

I went to school at 8am in the morning to help my Juniors in the CCA Roadshow which is being held today. Hahax As usual the SC booth will be the noisiest with speakers blasting music and one of the coolest looking ones! Hahax I sticked around to help out till around 10am before Ganesh Syafiq Zab and I went off to collect our sponsors. Since Zabidi is driving so transport is rather easy. Hahax We set of to collect our sponsors from Teenage magazines first. They sponsored us with 300 magazines. It came in packets of 10 magazines each. We dump them all in the boot and seems like it fitted just nice. Hahax We head back to school to unload the magazines, and then we head over to PUB NEWater to collect our next sponsor. For PUB NEWater, they sponsor us with 300 bottles of NEWater bottles. They came in small cartons of 12each. So they gave us 25 cartons. Hahax After that, We went for lunch at Blue Diamond in Little India before heading back to school for MW's second auditions. Hahax
For today's Musique Workz Second Auditions, we are auditioning bands from Tampines, Yishun and one band from Bishan. We have a total of 7 bands. There were cockups here and there but still we all managed to pull through. I dont blame my members though since the manpower was so little... I think they did a great job. Good work Guys! I managed to watch all the bands perform today and they are quite cool! Izhar's band performance was really great! Best part was to see Anisa the Secretary singing! Hahax it was really cool! One of my Youth Avenue members Syed also came to audition. His band is from Bishan. His audition was quite cool too! One of the bands from tampines, Farid's band. He was the singer for the band. The performance wasnt that good... The first Judge gave the comment "have you ever heard youself sing before". So I leave it up to you to guess how bad it was... Hahax And the stupid band from Yishun, Performed two MetalCore songs. Basically screaming away. Our event's Terms and Conditions was NO heavy songs like Metal and yet they were happily screaming away... Haiz all the best to them...
After the auditions all, my Youth Avenue group is having dinner together at one of the restaurants at Paya Lebar organised by Siti. Hahax Siti and I went over to Paya Lebar to meet them. We were suppose to meet at 7pm most of them were late... Well basically all of us were late. Siti and I reached first but we were a little later then 7. Hahax around half my group couldnt come... So we end up having only Shafina, Adeline, Gekting, Siti and I. We went over to City Plaza and had our dinner at the the restaurant called Arnold's. I didn know bout that restaurant and I'll say! The food there is good! Western style. Hahax We enjoyed our food, had a nice chat and left at 9plus. Had a long day today but at least we get to have fun. Hahax

Today is the first audition for bands participating in MW. As usual Zailan came over to pick me up. He came at 11:30 in the morning. Around half of my man power is there and most of the stuffs are already set up. So there isnt much to worry bout. Except for those who are coming after Sembayang and might come late coz of the rain. The audition today is for Bishan and Bedok participants. So there are 5 bands. I gathered everyone at 2:15pm, made a short briefing and had everyone to their position. By the time the band arrived, registration, admin work and all, the auditions started off at 3pm. Half an hour behind schedule. We ended at around 5plus. Yesterday the Dry Run had lots of cock up here and there... Today everthing went smoothly! Yeah! Everyone did a great job there. I'm so proud of them! After everything we left school at around 6pm and went to the coffee shop behind school and had dinner together. We all chilled till around 8 plus before we left. Zabidy drove Syafiq and I home after that. Had a tiring day but it was fun for me. I hope the rest had fun too.. Hahax Next week there's gonna be another audition and this time 7 bands... I'm sure everything will be fine again as usual. I believe in my members!!

Well, had an interesting start for the day... Hahax The Dry Run is suppose to start at 9:30am at SC room today. So Fathiah Syafiq Zailan Siti and I decided to have breakfast at Mac in Tampines first before attending the meeting. Zailan came over to my place with his bike and picked me up at 8:20am. Since I had a helmet with me, saves Zailan the trouble to carry an extra helmet. Hahax (Thats not my helmet though)
Zailan and I reached first, then Fathiah followd by Syafiq. Siti couldnt come so we just went on with breakfast. Before Syafiq came, there is this mysterious lady who came to me and gave me ten bucks and asked me to buy chicken rice to eat. I was stunt for 3-5 mins as that lady walked away. Well that was a interesting start to a day... Hahax Syafiq came later and since he just got his pay, he blanja all of us. After we makan all, we all went to school on bikes. Hahax Fathiah tompang me while Zailan tompang Syafiq. Swith rider. Hahax
As usual Ami came late. So we set up all the equipments first as instructed by Ami. Ganesh was the stage crew IC and yet he is late... when Ami came, announced to eveyone that I will officially be the Operations Manager. I was previously the Stage Crew but it seems that Ami wanted me to take on the post of OM to assist Faezah and Hayati... So I was promoted... Well since Ami trust me to do a my job well I tried not to dissapoint him althought I did... Hahax I wasnt sure of the whole proceedure of the Audition so they Dry Run today was quite a screw up. Well at least good thing is that Faezah knew the proceedure quite well... Tomorrow will be the first Audition. I hope everthing will run smoothly... Got lots of studying to do before we start tomorrow's Audition with Bedok & Bishan Campus... Hahax

Now we have three sponsors deals signed! YEah!! Hahax First was Celviano who signed the deal last week.
On monday 9th April we had two company signed the deal for sponsorship. Hahax. Ganesh Gabriel Ami Zabidy and I went to Honsei first to settle the agreement. Since Zabidy was driving, so things are a little less troublesome. But still it doesnt change the fact that we had a hard time finding the damn place... Hahax The factory was located at Chin Bee Cresent. Well if you are scratching your head I'm not suprised. Its somewhere at Boon Lay. I used my GPS to assist Zab bit its seems like my GPS screwed up abit and in the end I used the Street Directory book instead. Simple shit. Hahax After we signed the deal, we got our 300 Cup Pastas. Cool eh? We squeeze em all in the boot of Zab's car and went to school. We unloaded the stuff and all and stacked them in the SC room. After that we rushed to Velvet Joint to sign another deal. Dammit I made a perfect choice of joining the Sponsorship Team! Check out the fun in it! Hahax After we settled everything about sponsors, we went around Orchard for a walk since Syafiq was working there.
On Tuesday 10th April was Gabriel's actual birthday. Syafiq decided to give him a suprise. We spent the whole last night discussing on the phonw untill almost 5am. Hahax Gabriel, Ganesh, Ami and Syafiq had a meeting with Miss Joanna at Bishan ITE. After that they went Marine Parade to chill. While the rest of us meet somewhere and prepare for the suprise. Hahax Fathiah and Siti went to get the cake while I went to get the card. Later around six plus, all of us, Fahmi Izhar Fathiah Siti Zailan and I went to find Gabriel and suprised him from behind with a birthday song. Hahax Well it seems like that was his forth birthday Cake... Hahax We all chilled till around 9pm and then we all went back. I hitch a ride on Zailan's bike while he sent me home. Dunno why but Fathiah followed along. Macam Escort sial... Hahax
Today I got a good news from Siti! She called Medusa Soundwerkz and they seem rather interested and might wanna sponsor sound system!! If they sponsor that, all we are left is top 3 prizes and one more door gift and we are done in sponsorship!! YEah!!

Yah know... Now I know why some people when they have troubled mind they claimed that they cant sleep. Hahax These few day, or maybe weeks, there has been lots of things running through my mind... Well maybe some are personal, but most aint. Problems of others are part of my concern too. Well too bad, I'm the kind of guy who give more concern on others they myself... Hahax And I cant believe the everything just went through my mind last night and because of that I cant sleep the whole night. (Quite a cool experience though... Hahax). Ok cut the crap I thing I shouldnt be blogging bout stuff like that... Hahax
Alright lets talk bout some cool stuff that happened. Well for Musique Workz, We managed to settle Celviano. They signed the contract and we are gonna get a cheque of 500 soon and another cheque of 500 another day before the event itself. Cool em? Hahax They signed the agreement with miss Joanna on Wednesday 4th April. Yeah! Finally one sponsor settled! On Monday tomorrow, We are gonna settle another two more sponsor. Honsei and Velvet Joint. If everything goes well we will already have 3 confirmed Sponsors!! How cool is that?? Hahax YEAH!!
Well apart from Musique Workz Sponsorship and all, on thursday 5th April my secondary school Bedok Green Sec had its 6th Speech Day and I was invited to recive an Award. Hahax Cool eh? But then it aint anything big ah. Its just that I've been helping out in the Alumni and all so they awarded me with the Friends of BGSS award. Was hoping for a Plague or something but in the end... They give a cert and a small little gift, a small key chain and a pen... Haiz... Ah well... Better then notting... Hahax
