4 Day 2 Night Outfield. Company Proft Test

Nope! No mistake at all. Its 4 Days and 2 Night Outfield that I went. And the last 2 days was the only time I actually enjoyed Outfield!
The first outfield on Monday and Tuesday was my Company's Proficiency Test. 2 Day 1 Night Outfield.

Monday we set out early morning as usual for Our Outfield. We did Advance for the first day. We went for lugger first before we move at around 1 plus. We walk, cut through the jungle and cross the river again. There was a M113 that was blocking our path and I was sent to Disable it. When I was about to fire my Matador I forgot to put to fire mode. I was Declared Casualty with both leg Injured by my CO cause the M113 Fired its 50HMG at me before I fire at them. Damn!! When I was carried to the Training Shed, my medic and my Sergeant stayed with me there. Saved them form the rain since it was like a storm outside. Hahax Later on at night we Advance further and was contacted. When we engage the enemy, my section was more to the left. While we were charging forward, Platoon 11 came infront of us! Basket! So my section try to go back more to the right and guess what? My whole Section was declared Dead... Those who got Killed In Action or known as KIA we settle down in one area while the rest of the platoon fight on. To my suprise I saw my Platoon Commander! My Sir was caught in a crossfire and was shot in the ass by one of our own men. Even the runner Died with him. Hahax Well at least we get to sit down, rest and talk cock while the rest charge uphill and all to fight. C-050 PTE Clemence Chang KIA. Hahax Haiz

Tuesday...
The next mission we went on to do was Delay. We dig Shell Scrape overnight and wait for the enemy to come. And everytime we do nobody came. Haiz... After that we mount the vehicle and we fight on the vehicle. There was a point when my Driver was driving, he did not see the tree and he the tree. As a result the GPMG hit the tree and the GPMG know my MG gunner off his post into the tank. I was sleeping inside the tank and suddenly the Ammo Box dropped on my hand and I saw my MG Gunner fell beside me. I saw him with a pale face and his hand not moving. My Section 2IC removed his glove and saw a cut and when he pull he Sleeve back, There was a bad cut and a very deep hole puncture below his wrist. He was then rushed to NUH for operation. He had a ruptured vein and some fracture on his bone. 2 months MC. Confrim down pes cause he had metal plate in his hand...

I didnt fire my Rifle for the first two day and so not much cleaning is Required. Went back bunk, rest and the next day Outfield again. Its suppose to be section 1 who are going oufield again to be another company's Enemy. But one guy had driving test and I have to take over him. Good thing he passed if not I will turn a mince meat out of him man!! Well at least I get to enjoy the outfield being enemy!

Wednesday...
This time we dont have to wake up so early. Wake up same time, go for breakfirst somemore. We went Sungei Gedong to prepare first. The first mission for us is to delay the enemy. Set started at 11plus. My Sergent and I went to an area which is pretty much like a bridge and set a trap there. My Sergent and I planned the delay and we hide there and Wait for the enemy to come. The path infront is set with mine field in which 100% plus chop they wouldnt breech it. It is muddy plus puddle of water everywhere. Hahax So we leave a small path for them to walk. And when they come out, I will engage them first since I can see better at my position, and when I do, at my left The SM1 tank will fire its MG and Coax and to my right my MG gunner. DMFD for sure! Hahax But bloody hell. When the first tank saw the trap at the opposite of the bride, they bino us and we bino them. In the end they went away instead. Bloody hell we waited there for 6 hours plus and yet they never come... Damn. So we mount up and went on to fight a vehicle war. And damn it we got killed by a SM1 tank... After we Died we went to the Training Shed to rest. Our company's Performance for the first day was bad and my CO called my CSM. My CSM got fed up and call my Platoon Sergent on his handphone, loud speaker it and Fuck us through the phone. He was said that he cannot take it when he recieve a call from CO saying that our man cannot do it. So he wanted us to capture a platoon size of POW or Hijack a Tank. After what we heard we all couldnt take it already. We wanted to just go out and fight but since we are already dead we cant. My PS and PC all allow us to Hijack M113s on the next assualt but the S3 didnt not allow... Haiz

We had a good deal of sleep overnight and when its finally Thursday, We got ready and set off for our assault in the morning. We set off on foot. Walked the Cemetry again and bloody hell this time cut the Cemetry where we we step on their tomb... Disturbing the peace sia! Well at least when we got down, My Sergeant Engaged a tank and I Engaged 3 Tanks. We mount the Vehicle and went on for more Assault. My Section Fought together with a SM1 Tank as tag team. We Whack them hard and panatrated their delay far in. We even killed the OC's vehicle but we cant find the CSM. Untill we are finally at the heart of their defence, we died. The S3 asked us to give it to them and let them kill us. We hit them hard enough already. Imagine one Section Knocking out 7 Tanks! Hahax S3 was happy with our performance and gave us a Thumps up every time he passes us. When we got back my CSM was really happy with us and ask us to go have a bathe and go for canteen break. The first day he was so pissed he wanted to come down personally with OC but OC ask him not to. Remember we cant find the other company's CSM? He reported sick fot this outfield. Hahax Even CSM also Chao Keng! Their overall performance was really bad and CO wasnt happy. He made them stay for one more day of outfield. Hahax Poor them

Friday bloody hell Still gotta do Guard Duty... Haiz Good thing I have my PSP and Monday is an off day. I hope those who become enemy get a day off. Hahax

AI Platoon Live Firing

Mas Selamat's Escape isnt totally bad after all... Because he is still at large, we dont have to do night for our Live Firing. So its like half day. Because he is still at large, I managed to book out on Satuarday! Hahax

Monday was an off day for us since good friday is gonna be burnt.
Tuesday Morning had endurance run of 3km. There was a lecture on firday's Live firing in the afternoon but other then that all we did was sleep. Hahax
Wednesday the Saw Gunners went to set up the target boards for the Live firing in the morning while the rest of us slept the whole morning. Afternoon we went to the area to check out the Live Firing Range. Waste of time sia! It was the same place as AI Section Live Firing.
Thursday there was suppose to be Endurance Run in the morning. But it was cancelled since it was raining in the morning. So we did area cleaning on the toilet and vehicle shed instead. And after that of course... Sleep! Hahax!! The drivers and the 2IC are asked to learn how to mount the TES Set onto the Vehicle. Since my Driver is not around, my VC asked me to go. Afternoon went to have a good haircut before I went to have a good nap. Hahax
Friday Good Friday was our AI Platoon Live Firing. Morning we set of early to Sungei Gedong, ready up our stuff before we went to the range. We did everything chop chop. One run of blanks and one run of Live and thats it. Go back. No night shoot because Mas Selamat is still at large. Went back, clean our rifle, and went to sleep.
Saturday morning we Prep our vehicle for the coming outfield on monday. We use another company, Braves Company's Vehicle. We spent the whole morning and half the afternoon mounting the Tes Set and testing it. Our test set works fine! But the freaking 25mm Cannon cant fire... Haiz... But anyway Thanks to Mas Selamat Our Live Range Became half day. And because it was half day we got time on Saturday to Prep the vehicle. And because we had time to prep the vehicle early, We get to book out!! After all Mas Selamats Escape didnt actually cause 100% Trouble! There was actually some help in it too! Hahax!!

Combat Team Outfield on my Bday

Well I should say, by far this outfield was the worst of em all and I had the worst birthday of my life!

Monday we stayed in company line to Prepare for the coming outfield on Tuesday. Morning we did some endurance run of 3km and after that we went to the Vehicle Shed to prep our vehicle. My stupid vehicle's battery died so we had to slave start it. My driver wasnt around I did it with my VC, Vehicle Commander. He taught all of us how to ramp up also. Well finally I know how to operate the M113! Only thing left is to drive it... Hahax

Tuesday we woke up at 4am and set off at 7am. We went to Sungei Gedong to mount our equipments on our vehicle before we move off. Our first mission started at 2pm. We three missions in total for 3 days. The first mission we had to be dropped off at a point, walk as infantries to secure and area where there will be ambush waiting for us. I dont really know what the objective is but I just walked with them. We walk 3 hours on the first objective. Crossed rivers as high till it reaches the waste all, Climb numerous steep slopes, and finally reached the area and we cleared the ambush. We thought it was over since we started to mount the vehicle and was dropped off near a training shed. But actually we are dropped off there to walk to another objective. Which took another 3 hours. Walking around the jungle, pass the farms there, construction yard, and even along the road of all the Kubur (Cemetery). We all are like dying already, Never eat anything, all hungry and tired. When we finally reach there, cleared the objective, there is another objective to clear slightly further down. In total we finished first mission at around 11pm to 12am. Well that Marks the worst Birthday of my life!

Well after the first mission over doesnt mean its over! Mission two starts after about and hours plus of rest after the first mission, we set of to an area for mission two. Where we had to defend the objective and make a delay. We dig shell scrapes and set up concertina wires and all. We completed all these at around 7am and we waited there. We all sit there, sleep and all. Till around 12pm still nobody came. We mount our vehicle and went back to our stand two position for resupply. There we rested all the wall till the next day for our third mission. After the second mission, I realised the water in my boots is starting to take effect on my foot. I remove my boots check it out and bloody hell it got wrinkled really bad. Changed my socks and applyed some prickly heat but still it didnt work. During the whole outfield it was raining, so no matter how much I try to air my foot it didnt work. I didnt sleep the whole night cause the pain was just excrutiating. I didnt go for the third mission. I just couldnt walk properly. So I just stayed with the vehicle as instructed by my Sir.

The third day everyone moved off at 5am and they spent like 7 hours on the third mission. I have no Idea what they happened but all I know was that they had fun. And bloody hell my whole section died. Hahax Kena drip by the MO. We finally get to go back after all that at around 6pm. We went back to camp, the whole company get to order food from some seafood stall or something from outside. My platoon ordered Sambal Fried Rice with egg which cost $4.50. Imagine 80 over people order food. that makes 300 plus to 400 plus bucks a night man! When we came back, we went to bath before we clean arms. All our foot all Rot and cause of that the whole company was limping around.

Friday we mostly spend our time to clean our arms, and the best part is at least half the company wore sandals. Even to cook house and all. All got foot rot. Only the tankees and drivers are safe.

Damn this outfield! Walk like dogs like that! Well at least he next outfield should be interesting. We get to put he laser system and all so we can tell who die, killed by who and what. Cool man! Next up coming outfield... Company Proficiency Test. 2 Days 1 Night.

Chemical Defence Training

FINALLY!! After Running so many Numerous SOC Training and Tests and Finally! I Cleared The second year timing.

Monday was quite slack. Did SOC training in the morning. I ran with 2 dummy mags. 2 mags feels quite light but doing SOC with it has its effect. Hahax After that in the afternoon we sleep. HAahax I just love free time. All we ever do is sleep!

Tuesday Morning's SOC test was cancelled due to rain. So we just go back to our bunk to do what we do best. Which is of course sleep! Hahax SOC Test was postponed to the evening. Kelvin Paced me throughout the whole rundown. Running of 600M towards the obstacles was ok. Quite shack though. Obstacles was quite a challange when you are shack but still its a piece of cake. But when I cleared all the obstacles, The final rundown of 700M was the biggest challenge for me. The most tiring part of the test for me. And this test will be one heck of a Test I will not forget! When I jump off the low ramp, the last obstacle, Tankee SGT Zheng Qiang, my BMT Sergeant, Came and started shouting at me. That makes two person pacing me. After less then 100Metres off the ramp, My PC LTA Marting ran in and Started shouting. 3 person Pacing me, 3 person shouting at me, 3 person fucking me. Imagine that... Hahax Well at least I passed! 1st year timing is below 10.00min While 2nd year timing is below 9.30min. I got 9.25min which means I cleared Second year!! Finally! HAhax

Wednesday We had some chemical defence training. Some guy from Singapore Combat Engineers, SCE, Came to teach us about some Chemical Defence Shit. It seems kinda cool though, wearing the Chemical Suit and Gas Mask all. But when you do it, It actually sucks! Morning we had lectures and afternoon we did practical.

Thursday We went Pasir Laba to do the Chemical THingy with Tear Gas. We wear our suit, Go into a Tear Gassed room, Do five simple exercise, Change Canister, and then the final one which is to remove the mask, open your eyes and say your rank name and NRIC to the Officer inside. Man my eyes and nose was burning! Hahax

Friday morning there was IPPT test for those who failed and those who didnt take. I got Silver already so I went to sleep. Hahax Spent almost the whole of the today sleeping. Next week another Outfield. Gonna spend My birthday eating Combat Ration...

Haiz Serve Like Dogs and yet the Pay is pathetic... Wasted 8 months of my life already. 14 more months to go 14 more paydays to ORD!

Outfield & Live Firing in the same week

Had two outfield this week. Monday and Tuesday I had Tact Team Outfield in which we spent most of the time sleeping. Hahax Monday we set off early in the morning, went to Sungei Gedong, Prep our vehicle, and rest there for about 2 hours before we set of to the vegetation, and set up lugger and rest. Hahax. For the first day the only training we actually did was Clearing Trench. The only difference is that we did it with the Tankees. During our movement my platoon's PC's Vehicle got stuck at the side of the road due to soft mud. The Vehicle almost overturned. It was tilting to the rightside of around 45degrees. After that was dinner and lugger again. In the middle of the night we are asked to move off. We are acutally supposed to set off to do a delay where we have to dig shell scrape and all. But on our way there it started to rain and so we went back to admin point to sleep. The most interesting part was Platoon 10's PC vehicle also almost overturned. Just that they got stucked with a more then 45 degrees tilt to the front! Hahax Two vehicle almost overturned in just one outfield. The second day we spent the whole morning Luggering. Or another words Setting up Camo and sleep! Hahax After that there was some movement training in the afternoon or what. We are suppose to take turns between each section. But When It came to my section we had to report back to admin point. So during the whole movement I practically spent it sleeping in the vehicle. Hahax Went back to company line at the evening, Clean Rifle and sleep. The poor Drivers had to stay there for one more day.

Wednesday We continued on some weapon cleaning and Vehicle washing just to get ready for Thursday's Live Firing.
On Thursday we set off early to go for Platoon Infantry Live Firing. Had it in Pasir Laba camp. We did breaching. Where section one and three wait at the FUP, Form Up Point, while section two go and plant the Bangalore and make a blast. And The blast will be our Que to charge forward and wait till we hear gap gap gap and charge uphill and shoot our targets. Freaking shack. The uphill was damn steep! Morning we did one dry run and one actual run. The actual run was quite a screw up. The other company didnt ignite the Bangalore properly so two did not go off and one had to be set off with a charge. My platoon went first for my company and everything went well. We ignite perfectly and went for cover! But bloodyhell it was a blind... We had to wait 2 hours just to have the blind to be cleared. The night there was no Bangalore. All we did was just charge uphill. Simple as that. But before we are about to enter for the Live run, We had to pack up and go back coz some terrorist escape or some shit like that. Well good thing is that we get to go back early. Bad thing is we might have to come back again... Dammit!

Friday we spent most the time resting rifle cleaning. My section went to Clean our vehicle's Cannon. They pull the barrel while I Clean the Firing Component. After which we did our area cleaning and book out. Next week good thing we get to Stay in the company line. But there is some chemical suit shit. Dunno what the heck is that but I heard its gonna be Hot!
