One thing that sucks about combat shoot, even if you get perfect score for your shoot but the rest of your detail members dont shoot properly, you dont get your marksman.
Monday we spent the whole day doing our Combat Shoot. We are given 20 bullets for morning and night. Morning my detail shoot two time since our target board got problem. Overall I shot Perfect in the morning and at night I missed 3. Good shot yes. But only 3 of us shot well. Even my Section 2 IC the famous bo bo shooter managed to shoot perfect in the morning and missed one for the night. But wasted the rest missed big time. Even one of my Saw gunner returned a full mag. The guy not working. Haiz... Two Hundred Dollars down the drain.
Tuesday we spent most of our time recovering our Combat Shoot damage by sleeping. At night the tank PC show us his OCS video before the movie screening. The video was damn cool. See their training and all. Hahax After that they screen the movie 'we were soldiers'. I watch the first part then I went up to eat my burgers.
Wednesday morning there was route march. But I had Guard Duty. Did sentry duty. Long time never do.
Thursday there was outfield. Revision on crossing of danger area. Haiz totally pointless. Everyone march out of camp to the training ground while my 2IC and I went to eat some canteen food before the tonner drive us there. And when we are there. We watch them do the Section crossing. Later part when it comes to platoon then we take part. Same for the night. Doing guard duty can also be a good thing. Hahax
Friday we are supposed to still be in outfield. But we came back last night. So we kinda spent the whole day sleeping and area cleaning. No food indented so we ate canteen for lunch after we clean the vehicle shed. Book out quite early also. CSM all not here. Only one Platoon Sergeant from platoon 10. Hahax
Next week is a short week. Three days work day with 2 days off. After that its Exercise Sea Hawk!
