Booked in on Sunday night for Guard Duty the next day. I went for my Platoon's BBQ organized by my Platoon Commander Captain Martin. Hahax He got promoted and is gonna be posted out. So he made a BBQ as a farewell.
Monday is an off day but I did guard duty. For that I will have one day off! Hahax
Tuesday morning there was some IPPT and SOC training in the morning but it doesnt Concern me. Guard Rest. Hahax After that we had Advance Close Combat Training, ACCT, for the rest of the day
Wednesday morning we had a run of 1.5km with LBV loaded with Gortex Jacket and 2 water bottles. Wah shack man! After that we continued our ACCT. At night we had dinner at the Parade Square to celebrate NDP. We had durians all. Hahax
Thursday we went to Marina Floating Platform in the morning for a little Parade for NDP before the System Rundown in the afternoon. Morning's Parade we did it with the Guards Unit. Simple parade. Just to hear some stupid National Day Message. After that we had 3 hours break.
Friday again we woke up early to go for a run at East Coast Park. All the companies went there for the run. My company ran 14km and after that we went home. Half day off. Hahax In the evening I went to Marina Floating Platform for the Sails rehearsal. I took over one of my sergeant since he is doing COS. Did one Rehearsal spending only 2 and a half hours there and with that we get half day off. Totally worth it! Hahax
