Initially there was supposed to be no outfield for aproximately 4 to 5 months time. Which means no more outfield untill after NDP. Then suddenly came this AOAC, Amour Officer Advance Course, 3 days 2 nights outfield to train the new OCs to be... Haiz...
Went back to camp on Sunday Morning. Had to do the stupid 4NTM duty.
Monday after I finished my duty I went back to have a good rest. Just when I thought my Section's Vehicle will not get fixed, It was sent back in the afternoon and the vehicle itself was in a terrible condition. Had to break track also. Well two tracks only... My driver was on duty so I kinda guided the rest on what to do. The rest of my section break track while I fix the Puppet Valve, Drain Plug and the freaking Service Plate. All of them under the tank itself. Then after dinner have to mount the Tes Set and the OVM. Haiz... The vehicle moved out at night.
Tuesday was the start of the field camp all the was till Thursday. The CO of ATI , Amour Training Institute, Maj Daniel came to talk to us on the first day. About why we have to come for a fieldcamp that has notting to do with us and all. Overall he was Happy with our performance and kept thanking us. Overall there was suppose to be 4 missions but one was cancelled due to Cat. 1. Total of 10 Captain was at the course. One of them was my company's 2IC Capt. Yee. Hahax
This Outfield was the first outfield for my section's Roy and Puven. Puven was due to injury and Roy was newly Posted here. I'll say they are doing good! Hahax
For this Outfield Lance Guards dont have to go. So Section one got no 2IC and my Section 2IC went over section 1 to take over. While I take over Section 3 as 2IC. The first day my Driver was not feeling well, went to report sick and cause of that, I became the Section Commander for one day. My SC went to become the Driver... Was Being SC is not easy man! Good thing my Platoon Sergeant, a Stand In one, Help me take control. Well Since I was the Sect Com of my section, I made my Section engage enemy while I hide behind. So in the end I did not fire my Rifle. Hahax!! This outfield wasnt bad actually. Got Canteen food for the second Night and after the Outfield. Got to sleep training shed on the second night. After the Outfield itself, My OC cancelled our dinner on friday due to good performance.
Friday morning Had to go pull the OWS barrel for Platoon 11's vehicle. Coz two platoon gave them our rounds. They trigger happy till the whole barrel turn black. Hahax Well not bad ah. Friday get to book out at around 4 plus.
