Damn I just hate doing parades. Stand still there so long. With the stupid SAR21 rifle under the hot sun. Got half my face burnt by the sun... Basket
Monday was relak. Morning SOC then the rest of the day is sleep. But at night after dinner have to pain the stupid tank for parade.
Tuesday again SOC in the morning. Followed by some Parade Rehearsals. The parade is for the changing of the Commanding Officer on 10th June. COC (Change Of Command) Parade. We did just the morning and its alread damn shack. Hate parades man. Afternoon we had a good nap after lunch and then my platoon had to go pain another tank coz the tank we painted the day before was not acceptable... WTF!!!
Wednesday early morning the new Sergeant had a turnout and they were Tekan big time. It is for them to earn their Formation Batch. The one we wear on our right hand and the right collar. Later in the morning we went for some endurance run of 4.5km but it rained when we ended. And after that we did parade. This time whole day! Wan damn shack. Good thing it was raining. So did the morning for a while, and afternoon a few time. Not so bad. But the poor drivers had to do keep practicing their Drive Through. Ahahax After dinner I went for my 4NTM Guard Duty. And with that I did not get to go for my Nights Out... Damn...
Thursday I managed to skip abit of the morning Rehearsal coz of the Duty. It ended at 10am. Go up and change all late already. Hahax Afternoon we rehearse at the late afternoon. Quite a short one. But freaking hell the weather so hot. I got half my face burnt by the sun just standing at the parade square. Basket.
Friday we spent the whole day Preparing for the coming Outfield. AOAC. Not sure what its stands for but all I know the outfield is to help OC wannabes become OC. So in another words we are going there to become enemy. Haiz trouble some sia. Hate outfields.
Last minute the anounced that there was RT (Remidial Training) on saturday for those who did not pass the SOC Trail Test. And becaused of that yesterday I only had a little nights out, go JP walk walk then come back. This morning only I book out. Haiz waste of time sia. Already passed my freaking first year SOC with second year timing already... Haiz...

Damn it sucks to actually have to come back and do Duty during a public holiday... On Vesak Day Monday I went back to camp at 8 in the morning for 4NTM Guard Duty. It starts at 10 in the morning. Well at least 4NTM duty is quite slack. There were nine of us and duty is same like guard duty. Sentry and Prowler, Work 2hrs rest 4hrs. But this time we guard the vehicle shed. Plus it is a holiday which means nobody is around. So all of us did sentry instead. 9 of us. So we do one hour rest eight hour. Hahax
Tuesday morning I bookout after my duty. We had leave on tuesday so I went home a had a good rest before booking in at night...
Wedesday morning we had SOC trail test. This time the new Sergeants ran with us as pacers. As usual I failed again. No mood to run. Aint the real test anyways. After that Sleep!! After dinner we booked out for Nights Out.
Thursday morning again we had SOC trail test. And after that we spent the rest of the day sleeping. There was rumor that there is gonna be a turnout or some shit like that in the evening. And good thing it did not happened. Hahax
Friday On leave. Get to chill at home. But we all live in fear of being activated because of that lame little island Petra Branca. Singapore won the island and it was announced around 6:30pm. Was so damn worried my pager will sound and if it does... I have to rush back to camp in an hours time which I cant do. I leave at where and my freaking camp is at where?? Its almost one corner to another man!
Saturday I didnt really go out far also. Worried about being activated. Well at least at night I went east coast for a ride on my old bicycle. Hahax Was fun though.
Thank GOD so far there aint any activation for my unit during this 4NTM Period. And I hope there will not be any Activation untill 4NTM ends for us at 10 June. Cant wait till then man... Pay day! Ahahax

I believe most of you played counter strike. Well imagine counter strike real life. Thats FIBUA for you. Also known as Fighting In Built Up Area. Hahax Its one the most interesting things we get to do as a combat unit in Army
On monday this week we make our final preparation for the coming 4NTM on Tuesday or Wednesday. We had another mock turnout. The best part? My tank disappeared. Hahax Spent the whole day doing our prep. During 4NTM we have to wear long 4 whole day. Hold on to our pager and all. And worst part. If there is a call back, gotta go back camp in an hour's time. WTF?? Well anyway Monday 12 May marks my 1 more year to ORD!! Cant wait!!
Tuesday we went for our Urban Ops Training. We trained on Team and Section Level. When we are done with Section Training, We had some fun fighting each other at section level. My section played enemy once and when its my Section's turn to attack, Section 2 was the enemy. We play untill 3 person left with one enemy. That guy was like a rat man! 2 story with access to roof also cannot find him. Hahax Fun fun!
Wednesday We continued our training of Platoon level and Company level. The fun part was HQ platoon Played enemy while our platoon train. It was fun platoon level. Section 2 give cover fire while the other two attack one level each. There was a part after clearing level 2, my PC asked me to climb the ladder which is 2 story high to the roof and clear the roof. I climbed up, threw a thunder flash and fire one handed at two guys and cleared the roof. Basket after I did that, Section two start asking who climbed the ladder. Even the other platoon saw me! I wore a tinted Goggle so the didnt really recognized me... But my Law tube was a give away... Dammit!
Thursday We clean our rifle in the morning and sleep whole day in the afternoon. Rest for the day.
Friday Live Firing. We fire in a small room. One is individual and other is a 2 man team shoot. We did day shot real quick and finished it at around 1 plus. So we turned from FIBUA to SIBUA. Sleeping In Built Up Area. We freaking slept the whole afternoon in a building man! Hahax. After dinner we go into Night Shot. The night one I accidentally Shot the Light stick. And I got Shock big time when the light stick 'exploded' and the luminous water Splatted in the room around the target area. I got shock big time man! But it looks damn cool! But the not cool part was we book out at 1 am. Reached home 2:30am and slept at 3 am. Wake up 9plus am and I cant sleep already... WTF...

In SAF during NS. You tend to work alot of Over time and you dont get Over time pay. WTF right?? Serve like dog. Treated like dog. Even food also dog food. Indeed we Are dogs of the military.
On Monday was my Battalion's Cohesion day. Help in Sentosa Palawan beach. It was heck of a boring day there. There are some organised activity there like soccer, volley ball, Frisbee and stuff like that. Most of us didnt take part. So went walking around doing notting untill like 12plus before we left. Two guys didnt go and one of them was from my platoon. He forgot about it and got 14 days SOL for that. The other one had to go DB. Considered AWOL.
Tuesday morning everyone booked in. After first parade we sleep all the way till lunch time. After lunch there was a some lecture on our Urban Operation Training next week. And after that back to sleep.
Wednesday morning SOC trail test. Everyone is to take part. Those who can pass second year for this test can skip training again. I walked trough the test coz I just dont give a damn. Got 16:55 for my timing. Hahax Next time I'll make a 20min record. Basket Second Year SOC test is like 2 months away and they wan me to run now. Heck no man! I already passed my first year with second year timing!
Thursday morning we did Route March with our organic weapon wearing the bullet proof vest. Walked 5km straight without break. Freaking shack. After that we went to Service our tank Straight after the march. We gotta do what every one has been doing for the pass 2 weeks to their thank. Which is wash the tank, Pull the barrel, BOS and of cause... Break Track. Our vehicle was stuck at the workshop and now its finally back. I had fun driving the tank here and there. Made a little drift also. Hahax.
Friday we had 4NTM mock turn out. Total waste of time. After that we continued on our tank servicing. Then after that we sent the tank for dip test. Where they drive the tank into a pool of water to test if it is safe for floatation. Heard it passed. Hahax Was hoping it to fail.
Next week we are going for Urban Operations outfield doing FIBUA (Fighting In Built-Up-Area). In short we are doing Real Life Counter Strike. Hope its interesting cause most of what SAF is is crap.

This week was a short week in camp. Spent only like 2 says in camp. And the rest of it off. Hahax
Monday I was on off. The off we got for being enemy during Company Proficiency test.
Tuesday Back in camp. Morning we had some IPPT training. Those who fail SOC went for some training which consisted of alot of running. Those who passed did more into statics. But those who passed SOC and got Gold for IPPT no need to take part. Basket! Later in the afternoon, everyone went to do area cleaning at the vehicle shed while my section went to pull the barrel of our 25mm OWS cannon. At the evening during RO, those who havent yet promote received the rank of LCP. Well those to Chao Keng Down Pes or Long term Att C never promote. Hahax
Wednesday I had Guard Duty. Thanks to that I was saved by the massive Area Inspection in which I heard they caught many contraband stuff and Stuff that are not allowed to be brought into camp. I dont know what exactly happened there in camp since I was the guard house. All I know was they were the last company to book out...
Thursday Labour Day I booked out in the morning. I went to Syafiq's Mosque to help out. There was an event going on there and Syafiq ask me to come help out at the same time check it out. Well I'll say it was interesting and fun. Syafiq and his friend Ammar Will explain to me what are they doing, what prayer everyone's doing... Was fun yeah. Not many noticed I was chinese! Hahax
Thursday also Is the day I get promoted to Lance Corporal!
Friday Off day!! Spent the whole morning and afternoon at home. At the evening went TM to catch the Movie IronMan. Quite a cool movie though!
I'll be booking in on Monday night. But Monday morning I have to go Sentosa. Some Battalion Cohesion day or something like that... Haiz... SIanz
