Finally!! Got my Black Beret! Hahax Spent most of this week doing rehearsal and prepare for the parade itself. As usual every morning we have to do physical excersice and all and then in the afternoon we start preparing.
Monday we get our uniform ready for the parade. Sew the formation tag, season the beret and all.
Tuesday I got my camp pass. The rehearsal was cancelled and we are asked to clean the tanks and paint the tanks that are gonna be used for the parade.
Wednesday it rained and live run in the morning was cancelled. Used that time to have a good nap Hahax Some 30 people were asked to go Pasir Laba Camp for some ops. It is said that there was some WWII bomb found and the are asked to go do some digging. I wasnt involved so I dont give a damn anyway. Hahax The rest of us stayed in camp to do rehearsal.
Thursday there was SOC Test and I failed it by 41 seconds. Damn shack. And then after that rehearsals.
Friday Live Run 5km with the Chief of Army joining us. I ran only 4.5km. Forgot to run one small round. Hahax After That the final Rehearsal touch up.
And Today is the day we Pass Out from our Trade Course. Woke up 4:45am in the morning just to get ready and all. The Parade was a short one. Its much cooler that the BMT POP but not as grand. The Parade commander was from my BMT Platoon and now he's a tankee. He forgot one command which was freaking important. Because of that our dressing was out. But then the highlight of the Rehearsal was the Drive-In Entrance of the tanks and the Drive-By of the tanks. By 8:30am the parade was over. But we only get to leave at 10pm. Cause of this parade we got half our saturday Burnt. Haiz...
