Had one hell of a week and finally get to have a long weekend. Just came back from field camp which started on sunday. I had to book in on Saturday last week at night just to prepare for the field camp. Was suppose to go see fireworks with my friends that day but I had to book in by 8:30. Haiz...
Sunday Morning had to wake up real early at 4am to get ready to go for the field camp. My field camp is at tekong so alot of time is taken to travel. When we reach tekong, the Tonners will drive us to our training spot. The training spot for my company is at the rubber plantation. When I reached there I realised the driver of the tonner I took was my SC Senior Ismail. Hahax Had a short chat with him before I fall in.
During the field camp there are interesting times, fun times and tough times. Some interesting stuff we encounter are wild boars walking around while we are having breakfast on the second day. My platoon sargent quickly went to get his camera when he saw the wild boar. Hahax I also encounter Scorpian when I was digging my ShellSrape. First time I actually those. Hahax Fun times are the training time with my Platoon and my Sect coms. We even took some group photos. I made a video of a training I had. Urban Operation where we have to attack in a group of 3. Very cool though. Hahax Tough times got alot. The whole five days make us shack like hell man. Then we always kena pump. Do leopard crawl and all. Running here and there. The last day of the camp we got turn out at 5 in the morning. Leopard crawl here and there. Then have to roll in the mud somemore... Well now that everything is over, somehow everything seems fun. Eating combat ration and all. Booked out on friday afternoon at 4:30pm. First time with long weekend. Hahax Cant wait man. Now I'm left with SOC, IPPT and Route March before I complete my BMT. 3 more weeks!!!
After book out I Went to makan buffet dinner at Tampines mall with one of my Platoonmate Joshua. Later going out again. Picnic at Sentosa. Hahax

Seeing Is Believeing``
When I finally can book out every Saturday, last week kena confinement... Haiz Had another two weeks of entry to summarise. Hahax
Last week 30th August on Monday we started of training for the week. Had Grenade handling test and at night we are finally allowed to buy drinks from the vending machine just for the movie screening. They show some boring korean movie titled "Face" or something like that. Tuesday had Route March of 8 KM. After the damn route march they check the field pack and most of us are short of at least one item. For me I forgot to put the freaking sandles... For that at least half the company kena confine. Monday to Wednesday are mostly physical training. On Thursday and Friday 2nd and 3rd Aug we went to Nee Soon Camp for Simulation shooting. Get a feel of shooting the SAR 21 in simulation mode. Thursday was just a practice but on Friday we had a test. The simulation was easy. Was aiming headshot all the time that Miss the points for marksman. Got 27/32. One more point to marksman and I could have been allowed to buy a drink... Haiz Saturday was book out day but then we were confined. The funny part was, we were enjoying ourselves when we were doing area cleaning that even the Staff Sargent incharge asked us if we enjoy being confined. Hahax at night we went around each other's bunk to sleep and also power party one another. Hahax Was really quite a fun confinement. Sunday 4th Aug I get to book out but then have to book back in by 9pm... Haiz
This week was really a relax week no physical training no 5BX. Except on Saturday. Monday to Wednesday we went to Pasir Lebar Camp for life shooting. Monday 6th August we did zeroing of rifle in the morning and at night we did the night shoot test. It was simple since I can see well at night. Hahax I score full for night shoot. Had a score of 16/16. Tuesday came back again for morning shoot. For morning I'm abit weaker. Missed 4 shots... Stupid SAR 21 cannot use left hand how to shoot properly? Bloody hell.. Well at least I scored 28/32 total. Got marksman. Hahax But then I was aiming for the title "Company's Best Shooter". Sounded so cool. One guy scored full and attained the title. We finish the shoot fast so they we are ask to shoot again. In the end I improved by one point... Haiz By Wednesday we completed everything. But since we have to go there, we did shooting practice. We are then allowed to book out after Dinner at 8pm. Was so tired, everyday less then six hours of sleep for this week, Went back and had a good sleep. Thursday 9th August National Day have to book in back... Some other camps no need sia... Bloody hell... Well but then on Friday We had Life Grenede Throwing in tekong. So we have to come back. We went Tekong early in the morning. When we reached there, we marched to take Tonners and we saw the Tekong ppl doing morning PT. So my platoon Sargent Shout to my company. "WHO CAN DO THE MOST PULL UPS?" One guy came out and is asked to mount the bar. He did 22 pull ups as we count. The ppl in tekong all looked at him pull. When he come down he shout "ARMOUR" Hahax Sounds lame but was quite fun though. Pride of the Armour Regiment. Hahax After that we proceed to grenade throwing. The experience was great man. The freaking Pin is so hard to pull. Almost twisted my wrist trying to pull. Saturday 11th August Morning we finally did 5BX after so long. And some physical excercise after that. We also did pull up after so long. And finally I could pull 6. My cramps finally recovered. Finally get to book out at 3plus. Had a good rest before going out at around 8plus at night for supper and a movie. Watched Rush Hour 3. Still miss the outdoors...
