I went to school at 8am in the morning to help my Juniors in the CCA Roadshow which is being held today. Hahax As usual the SC booth will be the noisiest with speakers blasting music and one of the coolest looking ones! Hahax I sticked around to help out till around 10am before Ganesh Syafiq Zab and I went off to collect our sponsors. Since Zabidi is driving so transport is rather easy. Hahax We set of to collect our sponsors from Teenage magazines first. They sponsored us with 300 magazines. It came in packets of 10 magazines each. We dump them all in the boot and seems like it fitted just nice. Hahax We head back to school to unload the magazines, and then we head over to PUB NEWater to collect our next sponsor. For PUB NEWater, they sponsor us with 300 bottles of NEWater bottles. They came in small cartons of 12each. So they gave us 25 cartons. Hahax After that, We went for lunch at Blue Diamond in Little India before heading back to school for MW's second auditions. Hahax
For today's Musique Workz Second Auditions, we are auditioning bands from Tampines, Yishun and one band from Bishan. We have a total of 7 bands. There were cockups here and there but still we all managed to pull through. I dont blame my members though since the manpower was so little... I think they did a great job. Good work Guys! I managed to watch all the bands perform today and they are quite cool! Izhar's band performance was really great! Best part was to see Anisa the Secretary singing! Hahax it was really cool! One of my Youth Avenue members Syed also came to audition. His band is from Bishan. His audition was quite cool too! One of the bands from tampines, Farid's band. He was the singer for the band. The performance wasnt that good... The first Judge gave the comment "have you ever heard youself sing before". So I leave it up to you to guess how bad it was... Hahax And the stupid band from Yishun, Performed two MetalCore songs. Basically screaming away. Our event's Terms and Conditions was NO heavy songs like Metal and yet they were happily screaming away... Haiz all the best to them...
After the auditions all, my Youth Avenue group is having dinner together at one of the restaurants at Paya Lebar organised by Siti. Hahax Siti and I went over to Paya Lebar to meet them. We were suppose to meet at 7pm most of them were late... Well basically all of us were late. Siti and I reached first but we were a little later then 7. Hahax around half my group couldnt come... So we end up having only Shafina, Adeline, Gekting, Siti and I. We went over to City Plaza and had our dinner at the the restaurant called Arnold's. I didn know bout that restaurant and I'll say! The food there is good! Western style. Hahax We enjoyed our food, had a nice chat and left at 9plus. Had a long day today but at least we get to have fun. Hahax
