Had a tiring but fun weekend. Just came back from Youth Avenue Camp with insufficiant sleep and all, yet I have to go for the Investiture rehearsal today... Hahax But then the three days of fun was really great
23rd March Friday
Went for Investiture Rehearsal today in the morning with all my Camp barang barang, guitar and all. Syafiq could not come today so Ami and I have to just rehearse without him. After that Ami Faz Izhar and I had lunch. For today's rehearsal alot didnt come. For us only Ami Faz and I Came. When Faz came he suddenly become so popular. All the girls started surrounding him... Hahax The Most of the Juniors came but Izhar himself didnt come. Heard he had an accident or something like that... But later I met him after investiture I realised actually he only fell... Notting much. But his shoulder hurts. Later after lunch, Fazli and Ami wanted to go school so Faz tompang Ami to school while for Izhar he decided to go home. Since he leave at woodlands and the camp is at Republic Poly which is in woodlands, he gave me a lift too. I was suppose to reach there at two but I went there late. But thanks to Izhar's kind gesture I managed to reach there slighly earlier but still I'm late. Haha Its my second time riding as a pillion on a bike but I would really like a chance to be a pillion on Fazli's bike... Its Yamaha R1 Man!!! Its Damn COol! Later the members started coming. Some of my members met up at the MRT station when they came. I went over to fetch them since they dont really know how to come. My group consisted of 9 members and 2 facilitators. They really managed to clique very well. Its like overnight they became good friends. We didnt do much activities today since its just the first day. We had talks here and there... Talks by GOH all and some review of last year's camp. After that Dinner we all had buffet reception. The buffet at the GOH side was so much nicer! Basket! After that we had some minor games like the candle game... Hahax Had so much fun. After that we went to was up and Lights out was at 1:30am. So I took out my guitar and started playing some songs at the corner of the sleeping area. We sang a long a few songs but the one we sang the the most was Tragedi Oktober by Awie. The part in the song where Awie Tarik we Tarik like hell till it was so loud we attracted attendtion. Hahax It was fun the first night. Wasted we cant say up longer...
24rd March Saturday
All of us woke up at around 7am in the morning and prepare for breakfast at 7:30pm. After breakfast we all played some light activities and then we went to the Lecture Theatre since there was a guest speaker there. Had a little talk and some discussion. After lunch we all prepared for the Crossfire and all of them started scribbling their notes. Hahax We had around an hour to do so. After that was the Crossfire Debate. Our group went last so there was three topics before us. I was kinda tired so I kinda slept during the Crossfire debate itself. But I was fully awake when my group did the presenting. Hahax After all the debate and all, we had this little game called Treasure Hunt. Quite tiring to be running here and there around the school all... Well at least we had fun. Hahax After Dinner we played a game of international chess with a twist. The members became the seeds and on certain places in the squares there are some what the call it the mines and challange. Dunno how the game works but it seems rather interesting. There was suppose to be night walk but in the end dunno what happened they do the chess game instead... Hahax After that was free time. Since its the second night, we are allowed to stay up. But the lights have to be out at 1:30am. I stayed up at night till late around 3:30am before going to sleep. Its rather peaceful at night in RP... Hahax
25rd March Sunday
Again we are to wake up at 7 in the morning wash up and all and have breakfast at 7:30am After that we played had some light activities and then we played a kind of war game called the lollipop. Quite a complicated and violent game. Many got injured but at least they enjoyed the game. After that was lunch and then followed by another war game. But then other war game was cancelled so in the end we played some station games. Some of the station games are rather interesting and some are rather disguesting... Hahax Check out the chubby bunny game... Haha!! Still I'm glad that my group was eager to play it no matter what kind of game that was. After the games and all we all started preparing and dressing up for our YA evening. Where we have to dress up as discussed for our X-factor showcase. For the YA evening, out of 12 groups we have, 6 of the groups do their X-factor showcase and then we pause to have the band performance and all, and after that some performances from the participiant it self. Some dance by the different JCs and one from temasek poly. Quite cool though... Cant believe Alfred was the MC. Hahax After all the performance and all, the next 6 group did their X-factor showcase. Our group was last to present ourself and somemore unlike other groups who have performance and all, we dont have any. Other group had creative ideas and all dressing up like dunno what... We dress ourselves up as the Adam's Family. And guess what? We were the best dressed! Hahax Cant believe it! After everything we all washed up and went back. My dad came to pick me up. So I gave Hafiz, Siti and Shafina, one of my group member back to somewhere near their house. Damn its been a tiring night... Hahax
