Just came back from the tennis camp and now my head is spinning like nobody's business... But then in exchange I had fun! Hahax The camp started on 26th sept tuesday and ends today. Lets have a quick summary of the three days.
26th September
I went to Macpherson ITE with in morning first before going to the camp. There is this SC Logo presentation to the principal of ITE Central and some other people. ITE decided to have a standardised SC Logo for the whole of college central. So we are to send in some designs. ITE Bishan, Yisun, Tampines and Bedok were there to present their logo. The best part is it was helded in ITE Macpherson's conference room and they were not there. Everything went great and I think we have high chance of winning. Bishan's logo was ok but wasnt very good. Yishun's design is crap. Bedok's design was quite interesting. The logo was designed by my senoir Fathi and he was there to present it personally. The presentation was so good they have notting to ask during Q&A. High chance of winning! Hahax
I went home to grab my stuff and went over to the Changi Chalet where my camp is held. I have a match against Moshen so I kind rushed there. It was raining when I reached there at three plus. I went there prepared for a match but to my dissapointment Moshen could not come so I won by default -__-"" When I came, everyone already finished their first match. They were all playing PS2. After dinner we played some ice breaking games and had our free time after that. Free time was quite boring... Forgot to bring my guitar...
27th September
Woke up at four in the morning for breakfast. So early? Hahax Yeah! I'm fasting with the Muslim ppl there at the camp. Jon also fasted with us. We ate breakfast and went back to get some sleep. After that we washed up and proceeded to the tennis court at around Ten. My match with Garret was my first match. Garret serve first and I broke his serve to win a 1-0 from the start. Then I kept my serve to lead 2-0. After that Garret kept his serve all the way untill we reached 4-3. He broke my serve to tie with me and won me finally at 6-4. Throughout the whole match, there is only one thing in my mind. And that was WATER!! Fasting with without food is ok but without water is tough. As a result I lost the match... Well on the bright side, because I lost it gave me time to go back and get my guitar! Hahax I went back ar one and came back at four. Seems like Garret won third. If I had won him I could have been third or maybe second... But then in exchange I cant bring my guitar. So I'm glad I lost. Hahax Went to Changi Village for dinner. We all ate the famous Chicken Rice there which was served at around 6:50pm. But breaking of fast, know as berbuka is at 7:05pm
Because of that I have to stare at the food for a good 15mins before I can eat... Now I know how it feels to be fasting and have food tempting you... Hahax But still it was fun to be fasting. After that that a few of us bout some beer and went back to the chalet. Again we have free time. This time with my guitar it isnt as boring as the day before. Hahax While we were drinking, we played some card games too. Loser will drink one gulp. Hahax In the end I drank 2 gulps. Yucks Honestly I hate the taste of beer. Prefer wine. But then the smell of alcohol is nice. Hahax
