Today's my rock climbing's level two course. I was told that it starts at nine so I came school early at 8:15am in the morning. Since my father wanna drive me there so I hitched a hike. When I reached school the damn gate wasnt even open yet... The teacher incharge Mr.Ruben Came at 8:30am. One by one all start coming and the instructors come only at nine thirty. Then I realised the course starts at ten... -____-" Should have know I sleep longer before I come...
We all gathered in the hall and started our course. Level one and Level two one corner each. The Level one ppl all started off with theory while we started of at the rock wall. Hahax In the morning it was hot and sunny but then I felt the wind bringing humid wind... Was kinda worried it will rain during our training but it didnt. It rainned right after our training. Hahax!! We started of with lead climbing. Where we have to climb up and attach the rope on top. Man! Afther I'm done my left hand was so cramped I almost cant use it properly... Hahax After that it was lunch and it was raining.
After lunch we went on to Anchor System and Prussiking. Anchor System is simple where we must know how to make sure the Anchor that holds the rope is stable and secure and all... Prussiking is the most tedious one... Hahax It requires you to belay yourselp up and then absail down. It sounds easy but when you have to learn all the knots required and all... Wah!! Headache xia! Hahax Thank God I can learn fast. It takes me only one look and two tries and I learned how to tie all the knots. Knots like the Clove Hitch, the Tape Knot, The Double Fisherman Knot, the Simple Prussik, the French Prussik and the Klemisheist. Hahax So many Knots to remember... I think by now I should have forgotten some... Hahax We learned all that for today and will continue next saturday... Next week we are gonna learn Topping Up And The Anchor and do more lead climbing before it is decided who gets to pass Level Two.. OMG I better start training man... Lead climbing aint easy...
