26th May 2006Yeah!! Finally after six months of planning... Today is the day. Operation Rockstar commence today 5:30pm at the auditorium of Macpherson ITE. I didnt join as an organising committee so I joined as a working committee. I assisted them in the security section. Hahax Raj Rizal Yazeer Jasmine and I went there at 2:30pm. At first I was assigned at the front seat security. My job is to prevent audience from rushing down to the stage. But I was shifted to back stage where I have to prevent late comers from making to much noise or causing trouble coming in. Then again I was assigned to go back gate -____-""" To make sure notting happens to the ushers there... In the end I got stuck to the back gate security and missed the show. There were a total of eight bands performing fighting for the first price which includes cash and recording contract. After six bands performed, I was assigned back to the backstage. Actually outside the auditorium. To guard the backstage or known as the pantry where they keep the prize and where the guess band is. Hahax I made one organising committe panick by not letting her in. Hahax
The whole thing ended at round 10pm. All the organising committe gathered and some working committee were there. All ITE Tamoines exco were there too! Hahax They gather together to thank them for the great show. It went so well that the sponsers are willing to sponser again. We might be able to get a 1200 seater next year. Operation Rockstar was brought up by my senior Aizat and Shirhan. Aizat is going NS and Shirhan has gone to NYP. They might not be there to assit us in the planning of OR'07 but we will continue their Legacy! This year is just 300 seater. Next year 1200 seater... Yeah!!! I'm gonna be an organising committe this time!!
