Plasma Lab

Its been 7 weeks into this semester. Been to the Plasma lab for at least 4 to 5 times. But never had a chance to use the Plasma Machine. Thursday was the first time we get to use the machine to generate argon plasma. Freaking cool! Hahax I think next week we get to use machine to etch a wafer. Damn I'm starting to like my course. Micro and Nanotechnology. The most expensive course in RP. Hahax

Seems like these few days its been raining quite heavily. So I decided to take bus through out the Raining season. Although taking bus is a frustrating thing to do considering how long you have to wait for the freaking bus and how slow the damn driver drives, I still miss taking bus a bit. Some of the things I miss about taking the bus
No.1 Daydream. Damn daydreaming is what I do best and the best time to do that is while taking the bus. Think about all kinds of stuff
No.2 My MP3. Ever since I started Riding I never got the chance to utilize my MP3. I miss laughing randomly in the bus while I listen to Class 95 in the Morning and Perfect 10 in the evening

Into NanoTechnology

Havent update my blog for quite sometime. Now its a start of another semester where I have modules like Nanotechnology Applications and Wafer Fabrications. The first day of class was Wafer Fab. Not only it was raining that day, there was a damn traffic jam also. Freaking cold when I reach class. Still have to go lab some more. The clean room lab where we have to wear jumpsuits and all. Friday's lesson is Digital Electronics II where my Faci is the same as my Last Semester's. The naggy mother faci we call her. Naggy but can teach. Not a good thing on Friday and worst now that it is going to be on Monday starting tomorrow.

Well I guess one of the toughest module this semester is going to be NanoTechnology Applications. My Nano Tech faci has a Doctorate in Physics and he demand in her lessons is quite high. To make it harder, the theory in he topics for Nano Tech are also very deep. Takes a long time to understand. Well at least the Faci is fun. Just that she gives comment on every single question in your worksheet for your daily grade and publish the daily grade the next day. Fierce! The one thing that I like about Nano Tech is that it has some applications of Quantum Physics. They should make that one of our modules. It should be fun to learn Quantum Physics considering how it makes Classical Physics look ridiculous.

GPA Dropped

After so long, RP finally release the results for the exams after so long. I managed to hold my GPA at 3 for 2 semester and this semester it dropped to 2.77 WAH Sadded =( Well on the bright side I managed to pass all my modules. Modules like Circuit Analysis and Analogue Electronics. Managed to get at least a Module Grade C.

Class starts on 12th Oct Tuesday for RP while all other schools starts on the 18th, Monday the week later. Dont understand why RP have to always start school earlier than the others. Wouldnt be going school on Thursday and Friday though. Working morning. I hope I somehow bring my GPA back to 3 this semester. I see two interesting modules I which I hope the Faci isnt as crappy as my Circuit Analysis Faci. Looking forward to Tuesday's Water Fabrication Lesson! Gonna Rempit to school!! Hahax

Its been 2 weeks since I last update my blog. Quite a few updates to do. Haha

Having holidays without having to worry bout exams is the best. But come to think of it, the last paper that I had, Physics, was the hardest ever. But heck who cares? Its the holidays!

16th September we had our Youth Avenue's first meeting after it has been quiet for like 2 years. Its is also the first time I had an accident. Well it wasnt a bad accident no worries. Town areas are just too confusing man. Made a turn too soon at Istana area, hit a taxi and fell. Well the damage on the cab was minor. The driver was more worried about me than his cab. How rare of cab drivers. Hahax

My Airport Pass is due to expire on the 30th of September and in order to have them extended, I have to go for 2 courses for a total of 3 days. The first course that I went was held on the 21st and the 23rd of September. I actually forgot about the course totally. I was sound asleep until I heard a funny sound coming from my phone. When I checked, I realized I had to go for the course. It was 7:45am than and the course starts at 8. I rempit my way to the airport. There was a jam but I just squeeze through. Haha Seriously the course was hell boring. Very much like a classroom feeling. The first day ended at 6. Still got to go work some more. Well at least the second day was slightly more interesting. For the course there is an assessment. Had to do role play also. That one really Wayang big time. NS really thought me well. Hahax Made a few nice friends during the course. Now I need to wait for the last course on the 29th which is very much an orientation of the airport. After that I will get a Certificate which I need to use to renew my pass. Haiz so trouble some...

UT 3

Seems like this week everyone is having exams. Now its two paper down and 3 more to go. The easiest module for this semester, Digital Electronics, was the first paper which started on Tuesday. Had a little stout before the exams started. Hahax. The second paper was the hardest module ever in RP life and that is Circuit Analysis. I think I screwed the paper up big time on Thursday. Ever since I started riding, I reach real early for the exams. Had plenty of time to do some last minute revision before I go in and start panicking.

Friday was Hari Raya. Went to catch Resident Evil Afterlife with my old friends Bing Xiong and Fabian before going to work. Decided to take a break from all those mugging. Well come to think of it I usually study at the last minute. To me its a waste of time studying too early. Thats why I never get As for any test. Hahahhaa

2 modules down, 3 more to go. Monday I have Chemistry II exam at 2pm and Tuesday I have Analogue Electronics at 8:30am and Applied Physics at 2pm. How nice of them to put 2 papers in a day. Ass

Got quite an amount of updates to do. Havent blogged for a few weeks.

20th August Friday I went for Training but what I didnt know was that they were having a mini competition there. Damn I wasnt prepared for it! Out of 4 routes, I managed to only complete one on first attempt. Well that is how bad my bouldering is. Haha. While I was going for training, I walked pass the IT helpdesk. I look at them and smiled seeing there there wasnt anyone sending their laptops for repair. When I went home that day, my com cannot load my profile and I cant do anything without admin rights. So I had to go IT helpdesk which only open on weekdays. Cant use my com over the weekend.

23rd August Monday morning I went to the IT helpdesk in school to get my laptop fixed. Well it was just some simple registry problem. So much easier if you had given me admin rights a long time ago. Went to the airport after that since my friend Asyiq is coming back from Brunei after 6 months.

24th August Tuesday I bought my bike. Spend 2 days going around looking and finally found one good one behind ITE Tampines my old school. Right after I fall sick. My colleagues even asked me to go chill on 25th August Wednesday night. Went for bowling at Kallang and chill around there around 4 plus in the morning.

I got my bike on 28th August Saturday and went around riding it to gain confidence. Damn its really quite scary riding on the road. Hahax. A totally Different feel from the lessons you get in driving schools. Well at least by now I'm rather used to it already. I only need a fix on my pillion part. Still wobble a lot when I pillion someone. Havent really took pictures of my bike yet. When I do I'll start posting up some.

Well for now I better start studying. Exams are coming this week and I havent even start studying for it yet

Last Analogue Electronics

Friday was the last week of Analogue Electronics. All the three engineering modules that I am taking this semester, I like the Indian Analogue Electronics the best. She always give good daily grades, has lots of patience when teaching us. She will give a mini lecture on the day's topic before we work on our worksheet. So gonna miss that faci.
She went through the Answer for UT 2 and looking through the answers, I noticed that I only had 3 marks for the whole damn test. Well I guess F is inevitable for UT 2. UT3 will be an open book Test. Gotta work my ass off this August. Cant let my GPA suffer too much damage.

Went for training on Wednesday and Friday. Wednesday's training was bouldering. I suck at it so I very much hide behind and watch others climb instead. Friday's attendance was very little. Well its good anyway since there will be more climbing time. Friday's training was called Add On. Seniors one side of the wall while juniors take the other. I joined the club this year so I'm considered a junior. There was only 5 of us. 4 girls and myself. And dammit they climb better than I can. Haha. Add On training is where the first person climb 5 moves, the next person does the same 5 moves as the first person did and create another 5. Total we have to create 50 move. The first set they give chance. So we climb for fun. The second set onwards when either off us fall, our coach sandwich us in the crash pad and have us spinning round and round. I kena 2 times. Spin a total of at list 50 rounds. Haha The giddy effect lasted till Saturday. It was fun though =)

Rock Climbing Training was canceled because the Floorballers are having competition today. Sebok sia those floorballers! Hahaha Its not like its their fault though. I hope they dont cancel Friday's training.

Today is the last Lab session for Chemistry. Bought the damn lab coat and we have only like 3 lab sessions? Well next semester we have 2 more for chemistry again. Oh Wow that makes 5. Dont know if there are anymore lab for the other semesters. Not a science student anyway. We are just engineering students taking some science module. Haha

Late for school this whole week. Except Thursday. I came around 10 mins late but the faci give chance. Mark me present. Haha.

Monday was Analogue Electronics UT. I did not go for class in the morning. Had to get my Airport pass fixed. I went to school about an hour plus before the UT start. So I took the chance to study for the UT. I assumed that they will provide the formulas required to solve the problem. So I studied only on how to apply the formulas. I didnt expect the formulas given in the formula sheet has totally no like to the UT we are doing. I left most of the Paper blank. Should have taken MC for the damn UT. I didnt know that the formulas have to memories. If I did I would have written it down somewhere and refer it later. Such an easy UT. DAMMIT what waste! Could have gotten at least a B for that man!

Wednesday my Chemistry Faci bought pizza for the class. Not every came though. But still we had fun. Chemistry lesson has always been fun.

Shifting of Arrival East

Seems like I didnt blog for almost 2 weeks now. Been having trying to study for the damn UTs. I got myself 2 E for the first UT. I hope I dont get anymore E for this UT man. Damn RP seems like they dont intend to let anyone graduate by taking out moderation. 4 UTs down. Digitial Electronics UT was ok. Dont think can get A. Chemistry UT was actually easy. But I forgot to study one topic which came out in the test carrying 10 marks. Circuit Analysis as usual was a killer. Did only 2 questions out of 5. Applied Physics was easy. Hope I can score. Last paper tomorrow. Analogue Electronics. Trying very hard to study for it. Hope I pass the test!

I missed Rock Climbing Training for week. They changed training days to Tuesday and Thursday for 2 weeks. I went for training on Thursday. Beatrix saw how badly some of us climbed and she coach the few of us personally only some techniques to climbing. Got level 2 but cant climb properly. Thats why I always escape from Bouldering. Just not my thing. Haha

Friday I went to work just to help out with the Arrival's Shifting. I reached Airport at about 6:30 in the evening. Chill with the rest of the runners before going down to arrival to help out. We completed the shifting at around 3 in the morning. We went to eat before going back. When I was trying to tap out at the staff entrance, card wasnt working... Went to work yesterday and I cant tap in again. The card cannot scan. I went to check out whats wrong, they told me the chip in my card is spoiled and I cant work till I get it changed on Monday. FML Monday have to skip school again in the morning. And I got a test in the afternoon. FML X2

UT2 Starts

Once July comes, everything floods in. Some of the good stuff that comes are like Pay Day and of course GST Money!! Haha 200 Bucks! Woohoo~! But the bad stuff? UT 2 starts on 2nd July.

Speaking of 2nd July Friday, it was Analogue Electronics lesson. Last Friday some relief Faci came and we dislike the Faci and my whole group partial. This week we have another relief Faci. This time an Indian Faci. Well at least this relief Faci is so much nicer than last week's relief Faci. Except the funny fact that she says circuit as cirCUTE. Hahaha. The lesson was rather fun though. Nice and patient relief Faci. Just like our original Faci. Hope she doesnt go on maturity leave! We took some group pictures during Lab. Having some fun while the Faci was teaching. Hahaha

Friday there was Ignite too. Nope I did not go for Ignite. I went for Rock Climbing Training instead. Training was mainly endurance. Our coach Beat made us hang on the wall for like 10 to 15 minutes. Training us to find a good spot to "rest on the wall". Did 3 sets of than and some other exercise before we start climbing a bit. As usual I avoided Bouldering. Did lead climbing instead. I just couldn't bring myself to enjoy Bouldering man. I prefer high wall which is more adrenaline pumping! I think I should start trying out speed climbing. Seems interesting. Maybe the coming Climb On competition I should consider Dyno also. Hahax

Yet another Lab Session for Chemistry! Wednesday we had lab session for the first and 2nd meeting. Did some mixture of chemicals. Quite fun though wearing the lab coat. Wanted to bring camera to take a class photo but I forgot to take the camera from my brother. Well at least we took some pictures with our laptops. Hahax

Halimah, the only girl in class and Me

The lab dragged from morning till 1130am. We did not have first break but we had a slightly longer lunch break. We went to eat at Koufu as a class for the first time. Had quite an amount of fun talking and making fun of each other over lunch. My class is full of boys and have only 1 girl. But they are quite a happening bunch. Haha

Tuesday I worked Overtime till 2:30am. Reached home at around 3 and caught the 2nd half of the Spain and Portugal Match till 4:30am. Had 3 hours of sleep till 7:30am and went to school. Wanted to skip class for the next day bit didnt. If not for chemistry and its lab session, I would have. Besides the faci is a nice faci. I went for rock climbing despite lack of sleep. Managed to look fresh all the way till I got home. Haha. Did lead climbing for climbing training. The juniors was introduced to lead climbing and they tried it out. I only climbed once. Most of the time was spent belaying and making sure everyone else lead correctly. Suddenly I feel like a coach. Hahax Its been 4 years since I last did lead climbing. Doing one round of Lead Climbing tire me out. Some more the wall short. I miss climbing in ITE Tampines. The 4+ story high wall was more adrenaline pumping although the flat wall is easier than the one in RP. Miss those climbing days...

Partial with my classmates on Friday to watch Knights and Day! It was raining really heavy on Friday. I overslept and came school late around 10. When I entered the class, it was almost break time. The faci was some relieved faci and his demand of the class was quite high and ridiculous. Most of us had no mood to stay for the rest of the day. The school decided to lift the penalty for being late due to the unusual weather. Even with that, most of us partial. Leaving only 10 person in class. 5 of us went to Causeway Point to catch the movie Knight and Day. Was a rather interesting movie. With me Without me. Hahax

Just the 1st week of school after the holidays and I already skipped 2 days of class. Haha Well at least skipping class on Friday was all worth it. Friday I went chilling with my Work Colleagues. We went to some Sports Complex at Chinese Garden for a swim. After that 3 of us rushed to work. I came half an hour late since Hisham did not bring extra helmet and I cant tompang.
After work we went to Bedok Reservoir to chill. We, the 5 of us Nuance-Watsons runners sit down and talked all night till around 5:30 in the morning. Rusydi joined us around 4plus.

First week after Term Break

The moment holiday ends, I got a test on Monday. I wanted to skip school on Monday but since there was UT, I just come for class. The UT Analogue Electronics done on Paper closed book, wasnt very hard actually. At least they gave a formula sheet. The only problem was the workings are too long and there isnt enough time to finish.

I think my GPA this semester is gonna suffer. The modules seems to only get tougher. Results for Physics UT is out and I got a D. I expect to do badly for circuit analysis and analogue electronics. I suck at calculation and stuff like that. Basically anything maths. Used to be good at those. But rust like that are hard to remove ya know...

Went for Rock Climbing on Wednesday. The new members seemed to have reduced in numbers. Well at least the passionate ones stayed. Need to get to know them better. I start to see some new members getting better at climbing. Some even better than me! OMG where to hide my face sia. Some of them know I have Level II but good thing they dont remember. Well I suck at Bouldering anyway. Hahaha Excuses

Holiday Ends

I just dont understand why RP has to be so different from the other Polys. My 2 weeks of holidays just ended and other poly their holiday just started. Want to chill with my buddies from other poly also hard. Haiz. No wonder people put RP as their last choice.

Well anyway. The holidays was very much spent staying at home playing Modern Warfare. The game kinda brings me back to my NS days where I did Urban Ops training. The not-so-good old memories.

Apart from that, I went to Bukit Batok to my Rafidah to borrow her A-levels Chemistry Textbook. Had a little chat about bring back Youth Avenue. I've been thinking about it since the Strait Times wrote an article about Youth Avenue with Raf's comment it. I'll probably gather a team and start up YA again around October after Asyiq comes back from Brunei. Anyone interested can come look for me.

June 8 Tuesday there was suppose to have Rock Climbing camp to go for but there was Stock Take and I volunteered for it. Work OT = More Money = Faster get bike. Haha Amsyar Hisham and I did the stock take till around 2am. I was thinking of going for the camp on Wednesday but I dont know much details bout the camp also. I wasnt feeling too good anyway so I decided to go work instead. That night I came back I got a fever. What a timing to get Fever. Well at least in the evening the next day.

Before the holiday ends, I went to chill with Shakir and Veto since their Holiday just started. We went Orchard in the afternoon to watch Karate Kid. Nice movie I'll say. Jacket on Jacket off. Hahax After that we just went around for a walk. It was a coincidence that we were talking about Azlan and we bumped into him there at orchard.

Cant wait for next holiday which is during YOG to come. I see some nice PS3 games I want get for the semester holidays to come!

Monday is gonna be my colleague Azlan's last day of work before he goes NS on the 28th of June in Tekong School 2. Damn kinda reminds me of the time I was waiting to go into NS. Haha Brings back the memories. Azlan planned an outing for us runners from our company Nuance-Watson and also runners from DFS.

The plan was to meet up at 6 for those who are not working and for those who are working meet up after work. There was a new guy working also and he has a bike. Shakir asked him to come along and the plan was actually just nice. I tompang Hisham on his bike and Shakir Tompang that new guy, Alvin, on his bike to meet up with the rest. But than we have Ang from DFS... The three of us, Shakir, Ang and myself took train to city hall after work around 10. We meet the rest of them at city hall and took a slow walk to the Singapore flyer. We chill there throughout the night. We played games and talked about all kinds of things.

I went back with Hisham at around 3:30am in the morning. Hisham send me on his bike. He took the KPE route. KPE tunnel was damn hot. The wind that we feel in the tunnel was hot air. But when we exit the tunnel, the sudden cold air was chilling. Quite an interesting experience. One day when I get my bike I'm gonna try that route at night again. Hahaha

Rock Climbing at Safra Yishun

Went Yishun Safra for rock climbing today. It was raining so we didnt get to do the high wall. We went to this cool indoor boulder wall inside the high wall. Damn cool. It has 2 stories and the whole floor has cushion. Totally air-conditioned. The whole place has tiles on it even the windows. The slope up to the second story also has tiles. I spent most of the time at the slope up to the second story practicing my overhang climbing. Had a blister on my heel after that too. Spent a few hours there climbing until my whole body ache. But it was all worth the fun. Hahax

10th Blood Donation

Yesterday I went to HSA at Outram with Hafiz to make my 10th Blood Donation. At least the nurse who attended to me did the procedure properly. Didnt feel a thing. Unlike the last few session where the damn nurse either didnt pump in the anesthesia properly or didnt poke the needle in properly. Well at least I got to save lives by donating my blood.

Went to work after blood donation. Felt quite Giddy at work. Had to work OT since there was some Stock Tick going on. I left my bandage on my hand through work and everyone thought something happened to my hand. Shakir even commented that I put ang kong. Hahahax

Late for school for 3 days these week. Either because the damn bus took forever to come. Or TPE had slow traffic. Public transport nowadays is quite a pain in the ass. Gotta get a bike soon man! If not my attendance is gonna be beautifully painted red.

1 Year after ORD

Today marks our 1 year since or ORD. 1 year ago we got back our ICs. 1 Year ago we are civilians again and 1 Year ago, we left the F*ing camp without looking back. So nice to be a Civilian =) But SAF still freaking owe some of us our Marksman pay... Some kind of Swift and Decisive force...

Went for the Rock Climbing after school today. Last day of Excapade. Since tomorrow is the first UT, most of them did not come. We were split into groups do rotate our training. I was grouped with my Classmate Jabir so I just follow him through. We started off with traversing pass the wall for warm up. We did quite some Physical like push up, sit ups and stuff like that. We did some pull up thingy training on the rock wall to train our fingers and all. We even had speed training. I Challenged a senior in speed climbing. I'll say he is fast! Both of us slipped halfway through but he won in the end. Haha. My body not condition enough to push myself fast enough. Need more training. Next week we are going to Yishun SAFRA to climb. Damn I cant wait for that! Hahax

Rock Climbing IG was fun. Went with Azfar Azlan and Azfar's friend Azahir for the Trial. Damn three of them has AZ in their name and I'm the only extra. Hahax When we were having nice chat before we go for Rock Climbing, we realized how small the world actually is. I found out that Azahir was my Senior at ITE Tampines and he was actually Shirhan classmate. He was an ERS and realized Azlan and himself knew quite a few people from Civil Defense. Cool or what? Hahahaha. We had quite a deal of fun at Rock Climbing and I guess we might just stick to this IG

Ip Man 2 was great man! Go catch the show if you had watched the first part. Went to Cineleisure with Shakir and Veto to catch Ip Man 2 yesterday. Took a train to Somerset for meet them. Veto was guiding me on how to walk to Cineleisure from the MRT station through the phone. At every check point that he guided me too I was like "OHHHHH!!! Down here ah? COol or what?" Like some lost tourist in a new city. Hahaha Orchard road is one hell of a place I can get lost easily. We had a quick dinner and caught the movie at 6:45pm.

After the movie we went for a walk. Veto Brought us to this Orchard Central where the Escalator kinda goes up really high. Shakir and I was very much scared to look down while the escalator brings us up. Hahax We went to the garden at the roof and threw paper planes down. We had a little challenge on who's plane can fly the furthest. We set the last plane on fire and threw it. After that we left. Hahaha Suddenly I miss my childhood. We chill around untill 11 plus and took the Circle line to Paya Lebar. Was kinda fun chilling out we some of my work buddies. Kinda sad veto have to leave DFS. Gonna miss crapping with him while doing gate.

I have been studying in RP for about a year already and I have no idea that W6 is connected to Food Haven until Wednesday. I have Chemistry class at W6 on Wednesday. I wanted to eat at Food Haven and decided to meet Yurong at Level 3. I climbed the stairs and expect to see the Lift lobby or something and when I opened the door I got the biggest suprise of all time which is to see Food Haven. Well when Yurong came down later he had the same suprise. Hahahax Didnt know that the school was connected. I just found out that the Carpark was connected to E4 on Thursday also. I guess there are a lot about school that I still dont know.

Today was the last day Veto is working. Shakir and I are quite sad that he have to quit due to school ending late and all. Gonna miss all the crap while we send flights.

Did a few over time on Friday and Saturday. Work till around 1 plus in the morning and get a free taxi ride home. Heard that Next week there's gonna be shop shifting and they need us to over time. Gonna aim for that man even if it means skipping class the next day. I gonna need all the $$ I can earn to get me a bike soon!

Freshman Orientation Camp 2010

Freshman Orientation Camp 2010 was great. But the shitty part was that I was sick through the FOP. I had Sore Throat and Cough throughout the three days and it was crazy trying to shout. By the time I reached Wednesday I was drained. Thursday start school and I cant do my presentation properly. Friday MC-ed. Hahaha

Monday was the start of FOP. I came early at around 7:30am. We are to report at 0800 so I waited for my buddy Azfar to arrive. I was assigned to help another guy take care of his group Team 11. Well the group was not bad. The sad part? At least half was china. One quarter of them are from some other parts of Asia like Myanmar, Malaysia, I even have one from Vietnam. Well at least a few of them are Singaporean! I even have one guy who was a Vice President of SC in ITE Dover. Hahaha Cool or what? The first day was hell boring. Play some stupid booth games and all to collect points.

The second day quite a few of them did not come. Well what do you expect when the activities was crappy and so is the food. On the second day wasn't any better though. There is this tug-of-war event they hold it at the field under the scorching sun. The people who planned this are nuts. They thing the students are what? Soldiers ah? Put them under the hot sun with insufficient water. How clever. Ended up some people got heat exhaustion. I want to hide in the air-con but I cant since my members are out there and I have to make sure they are fine. One of the member got a headache and went back after that. Later in the afternoon, we had the juniors practice the mass dance thingy and the Republic Cheer.

The third day was the most happening one. Morning was spot your pod where the year 1s will go to their class in the morning. After that in the afternoon everyone practice the dance again. Later at the evening, there was Jam and Hop. We Engineering people made hell lots of noise. Other school cheer we also join in. Hahaha Made lots of friends through this 3 days of FOP. I wasnt feeling well but all the damage I added to myself was well worth the fun.

Thursday was the first day of school and I have Analogue Electronics for my first lesson. Have a female tamila Faci and hell she sucks. First day of school only she mark people late. I had no voice at all to be active in class and I believe I did real bad in class since I forgot most of what I know of Analogue Electronics. Besides, I didnt pay much attention when I was having that module during ITE. Hahaha

Friday I took MC since my friend Shamir took off. So I decided to chill with him. After so many months, I finally got myself a Pull Up bar. I went Bedok interchange first to check it out and decide to buy later since carrying it around would be a hassle. So we went Parkway for a walk. The pull-up bars there was sold out. So we went Tampines mall and yes you guessed it. Sold out too. I finally got my pull-up bar at Tampines 1. Well the bar was cooler than the other bars I have seen so far. This one has cushion on the handle grip. Kinda gives a nice feel when you do your chin ups.

FOP Camp

Damn its been like a month plus I haven't been to school. Monday I went to school for a camp to prepare us for the Freshmen Orientation Program coming up on the 12th to 14th. I came back from Shanghai on Sunday morning the realize that my License card came on last Friday while I was still in Shanghai. I was expecting it to come some day this week or something. Didnt expect them to come so fast. Took them only 15days when they told me it will take a month. So fast! Haha.

Monday's FOP camp starts at 8:30am and I wanted to go late because I wanted to collect my license first. *excited* But than since Azfar insisted, decided to collect on Tuesday. Went there late also anyway. Tuesday I went to collect my license at the post office at Sengkang. Took me half an hour to freaking find the damn post office. Would be so much easier if it was in Bedok. Hate my new house.

2 days of FOP camp was ok. Made a few new buddies. Had to learn some dance move to perform a mass dance on the day itself. Cant seem to get the dance move right. Marching Drills are so much simpler. Guess dancing is not my thing. Hahax

Shanghai!

This is the first time I have ever sat an airplane and its also the first time I have been to China. I took flight SQ836 from Terminal 3 at around 5:25pm yesterday evening to Shanghai. Four and a half hour flight there. When I reached there I finished watching New Moon and half of 2012. Hahax Checked into some random hotel called blue house hotel. It was already arranged for us. We stayed for the night and left the place the next morning. We traveled by cab to another part of sShanghai to fix some hydraulics thingy. That was the main reason my dad and I came to Shanghai. But that is only for one day. The rest of the days till Saturday night is sightseeing and shopping. Hahax

Really interesting to see how people drive and ride here in Shanghai. You hear people horn their vehicles here and there and yet they give way. Most of the people here who rides motorbikes do not wear helmets and Most of the road has a lane dedicated to Motorbikes and bicycles. Some times the traffic at the highway can be quite heavy and when it is you can see people along the side of the highway selling stuffs like shoes and sunglasses. Some even go around giving their name card. I dont know why but everyone around Shanghai I see so far rides a Kapchai, scooter type of bikes. Some even ride battery operated bicycles. I see some people tompang up to 4 people on their bikes! 2 adults 2 kids. Cool or what? Hahax

The temperature here is damn cold. When I arrived at Shanghai it was raining at 7 degrees. Was shivering big time. In the morning was still cold. When the cold wind blows... Hahax Took a walk around just now and it was Really cold for spring. 5 Degrees at night today. My feet and hands were numb when I got back to the hotel. Thank goodness inside the hotel is warm.

UT3 results are out and so are the module grade. Was kinda hoping to achieve a few A so that my GPA can increase or something like that. In the end I achieve no A... Well at least on the bright side my GPA maintains. No movement at all. Stays at 3. Hahax Ok lah. Next Semester must do well. Got 3 electronics module which should a walk in the park for me. But got one Chemistry and Applied Physics which is a good a flunked module. Gotta work something out!!

I spent most of this week with Asyiq since he is going back Brunei next Monday. We got ourselves some nice stickers for our helmet on Monday and Asyiq got himself a Kawasaki KR yesterday for 3k. COE till 2014. Well dont look at me! I dun think he's gonna let me be a sub rider! Hahax Well I'm not into sports bike either. Haha. Still waiting for my damn License card to come. So long sia. At least a week or so more.

Just realized that there are quite a few of my friend's who have their birthday this month! Yesterday was my old friend Danika's and my 2nd Sem RP classmate Khai's Birthday!

Its been a month plus and the Damn UT 3 results has not been out yet. Temasek Poly had their exams after us and their results are already out. RP is damn slow...

Now that I got my License, there isnt the need to go for CDC for revision anymore. So I have been practically playing Metal Gear Solid 4 all day on my PS3. Complete the game over and over again. Getting bored already. Thursday my friend Asyiq came back from Brunei. Friday went to chill with him. After like 6 months in Brunei, he wasnt very used to how Singapore Works. Haha Went to check out some bikes on Saturday. Been considering some cool Yamaha Bikes like X1, RXZ and Spark. The insurance for X1 and RXZ are cheaper than Spark. But the X1 bikes are cheaper. But probably I might get RXZ. Rempit bike. Hahaha. Well we'll see. Save money first! I might consider getting Class 3 license first before getting a bike. Unless someone out there is kind enough to give me their bike! Hahahahax

I got the best birthday present ever today. And it is given to me by the Traffic Police. Yes its my License!

Woke up early in the morning at around 0520hr in the morning. The last time I woke up so early was when I was still serving damn NS. Hahax I left home slightly before 6 and reached cdc at 0630hr. Everyone else came slowly one by one and we all gather at around 0730hr. Went for 1 round of warm up with a good bike no.18. The test started at around 0930 and this time since my number was 49, I have to wait for the first batch of bikes to come back before I go for my round. I wasnt as nervous as I was during the first TP. Treated it like normal revision and everything went well with another good bike no.20. Inside the room was intense. I was even more nervous in the waiting room compared to during the test. Only around 18 or 19 people failed.

Its nice to see some of the people who took the first TP with me and pass this time round. Its great also to have my buddy Syeikh with me, passing TP together and celebrating my Birthday. Hahax

Objective attain Class 2B License complete. Now for objective attain class 3 License or own a bike =)

Well first of all I would like to wish my first semester classmate Farahin a Happy 18th Birthday! Finally 18 already, can go Shisha without fear. Hahaha If she turns 18 today means I'm turning 22 tomorrow! Damn! Another year older...

Its almost a month to the holidays. All I have been doing throughout the holiday is playing the PS3 and going for Revisions. Been playing Metal Gear Solid 4 on the PS3 for about a week plus already. Completed the game like three times already. Great Storyline. Short Gameplay. Its cool that we could actually use Rex. But only for a short battle against Ray. Haiz. Cant wait for Metal Gear Rising to come out. I'm sure its gonna be great too. This time its about Raiden.

Gone through quite a few Circuit and Road revisions these few days. Yesterday was my last Circuit and Road Revision. Road so far was good. The only instructor that gave a debrief was Vincent. He said that overall was ok. He only note some minor points to look out for and some minors mistakes that I made. As for circuit everything was fine. My friend and I was even used as example by an instructor for those doing Figure 8. Thank God I did fall or something like that. If not Paiseh sia! If everything goes well like how I practiced, the I should get my License on my Birthday which is tomorrow! It will be the best present! *prays hard*

Two months of holidays! Cool or what? Holidays started since CNY and its gonna last till mid April. Chinese New Year has always been the same, visit relatives and all. Starting to feel bored bout it already. Well at least I get to spend some nice time with my family through the week. Even went for blood donation with my dad on 18 Feb. Dunno how the damn nurse poke the damn needle. My hand felt uncomfortable for about 2 days after the donation. Well at least I got a Polo-T from them for making 3 donations in a year last year. Hahax

Its been almost a month since I went for revision since my last TP. I spent three days from 23 to 25 going for revision. 1 Circuit 1 Road and 1 Re-Training. Rather tiring to go for 3 days straight of Practs. Well it will be all worth it when the day comes.

Finally! UTs are all over! HOLIDAYS!! Hahahax! UT was good and bad but there was more bad than good in it. Monday I went to get a haircut before going to bedok library to study for UT with my Sem 1 main characters. Check this out Wana was teached us maths! Hahaha How cool is that? Well Faiz taught her before thats why. Haha

Mugging Buddies

The UT was on Saturday the week before. It was Communication Skills UT and it wasnt that bad. Hopefully I can Get A for it... The next UT was Cognitive which was on Tuesday. Wasn't that bad. It was rather easy. Which is in a way bad cause after moderation its gonna be hard to get an A for it... Cognitive and Communication are my only hope to get A which can help me even out the Grades for the rest of the modules since I know the rest cant make it.

Wednesday was Maths UT. The one that everyone was mugging big time for. I stayed behind after cognitive UT the day before to study for Maths UT. We had Faiz there to help too. I focused more on calculus since Differentiation was rather confusing for me. Regretted not taking the module in ITE. I even had my Airport friend from DFS teaching me Differentiation in the Gatehold room. We used the receipts as rough paper. Hahax

After Maths UT I went to shop for New Year cloths. I didnt bother to study for Thursday's Engineering Design UT since I somehow know that everyone is not gonna make it for that New Module we were used as guinea pigs for. Well surprisingly the UT for Engineering Design was very much Do-able. The paper was rather easy and I hope I can score for the paper.

The last UT Physics was a killer. I cant even do a single question with confidence. I had so many notes people sent me, calculators in excel. So many tools that give the assurance that you are gonna pass the UT but the question they give, are totally unDo-able. Well I wasnt the only one. All my classmates cant do the paper either. Hahax

After all the UTs are over on Friday, my class had a meet up for lunch at Seoul Garden. Had a great deal of fun eating out with them. Fun bunch of people. I took train ride to work with Khai since he was going home at Bedok area. Near where I used to live in Chai Chee.

Wow! 15 weeks of lesson gone just like that! The good thing about it is that we are gonna become Year 2 Students! YEAH! Well the sad part... We are all going to new classes again next semester. During this last week of school, I wrote the longest RJ I have ever wrote with 736 words for Cognitive and the shortest RJ with just the work "WooHoo~!" for Maths. I also managed to achieve 10 As for my Communication's Daily Grade. But then my attendance has quite a number of late in it. Haiz...

For Engineering Design this week we are to put a sensor to our Car Design. We took lots of pictures and videos while we made our car. Some of them was playing card game and there person who loose had to do a forfeit. Hairil lost and he had to sit on a chair and go around the level screaming for 2 rounds.

Had a great deal of fun during the last week of class with W36K. Our maths Faci bought Pizzas for the class. He bought 8 pizzas which cost him $168.30 So sweet of him! Haha. We finished all of the pizza excepted the last piece and spammed it with chili powder and some cook on it. We opened numbers and the guy who lose have to eat it. Well yet again Hairil lost and yup! He had to take a bite. Hahaha

Last day of class was Physics lesson. We spent more time having fun than actually engaging to the problem for the day. Well again the classed play some card games and those who lose end up wearing the free hug tag and go around hugging people. Hendrix hugged 2 guys, got force hugged by a guy and hugged a girl. Yes I got them in video. Haha. PK got to hug 2 girls and one of the girl came our class to find someone while we were studying after class. Hahahaha! Well I promised them not to post the video so if you wanna take a look, you gotta look for me. Hahaha

Saturday was UT3 for Communication Skills. Exams on a Saturday?? WTF? Thats one. We all go to different classes for all our tests and we get random people in the class. WTF??X2. Well at least Khai was in my class and he sent me notes at the last min. Test wasn't very hard though. Need an A to achieve module grade A and I lost 6 marks in yesterday's Communication UT. FML. I did one question wrongly yesterday... Hopfully I can do well for the rest of the module. Gotta Maintain my GPA!! Arrgh!!

Fish a Fish. For Real!

Geez! Somehow I feel like I am neglecting my blog! Sorry bout that though. Been lazy lately. Hahaha Kinda got addicted to Maple private server since almost half my class was playing it.

18th January 2 Mondays ago, we had to wear formal for Communications Lesson where we are to do a presentation of our proposal we did 2 weeks before. Well presentation was not a problem for my team and myself. The catch is, my faci arranged another class to join us and we presented to 2 class, my class and another, with 2 faci, my faci and another faci with a doctorate in communication. My faci recorded our presentation in video and I think I did badly. I did the introduction for my team. Scripted my speech very well. But the problem is, I forgot what to say when I am up there. Had to do it impromptu. Well anyway my team got A for that week. Hahax

Yesterday I went fishing with Lim Jia. It was my first time trying out fishing myself where I cast the rod and reel the fish myself. It was fun! Last week I followed Lim Jia and his friends and watch him fish. Not very fun... I went over to Punggol end where the jetty is to find him after attending my Uncle's DND. I took the last bus and reached there at almost one in the morning. I caught myself 2 catfish. Catching a Catfish may be considered a useless fish but to me its an achievement as a beginner.

I was still rather disappointed with myself for failing my TP. Well I managed to cheer up a lot after I read a few comments on Facebook about how many times some of them actually took their TPs. Especially my NS platoon 10 Platoon Sergeant who took 6 times. Hahaha Besides that, some of them commented about bringing them for a ride and the other comment about breaking arm. Had a great laugh in class considering the fact that Physics lesson was hell boring. My physics got rusty after 6 years alright! Since secondary school I haven't done any physics.... Haiz...

After school I met the rest of my X-Classmates. We all went for a nice dinner at Zam Zam before having a nice and relaxing Shisha Session with them. For a moment all my troubles are gone. Hahaha Its a waste that some of them don't smoke Shisha and some who do cant make it. Well at least the few of us had a great deal of fun! I feel sorry for Iwana Farah and Azfar who are underage and cant enjoy the Shisha to the max... Next time we go a better restaurant alright? Hahahax

First time taking TP and I was late for it. So hard to find cab in around my house. Punggol totally sucked. Could have passed but I freaking Failed the test. Haiz. I only got 10 points. Never had points so low before! Besides I did not pass my Pract 8. Everything went well except for the damn crank course where my Engine stalled and they considered it as I fell off the bike and footed. Immediate Failure. Next test date is on my Birthday. Now that is more demoralizing. I'll be taking my next TP with my friend Syeikh and this time I have to pass! Than I can celebrate my birthday to the max!!

Today is my secondary school friend Serena's 22nd Birthday! Well she celebrated her birthday on Saturday. Met up with quite a few old friends. Nice to see that I'm the only one among them besides to have ORD-ed. Apart from TBX who was in the same camp as me. Hahaha Civilian life is the best!

Well apparently some Idiot Plagiarized 60% of my Communication RJ and gotten and F for her daily grade. Yes. Her! Its a girl and nope its not one of my Semester 1 friends. It kinda puzzles me who this dumbbell actually is, trying to be funny who actually copied and pasted someone else RJ for her own. RP has lots of tricks up their sleeves in finding out stuffs like that.

Opps! Sorry for the unpleasant start to my first post of the year! The start of the year was quite a boring one. Well as stated on top, I just got to know of the incident when I came to school in the morning during the first break. Today's cognitive lesson was rather boring. Well I guess its the first week of the school that's why everyone was not in the mood and thus the lesson became boring. Or maybe because Tuesday being the most unproductive day since Monday, though having the blues we get to catch up with friends by talking about our weekends, Wednesday being the mid of the week, Thursday being close to Friday and Friday being TGIF! That leaves Tuesday in the middle of nowhere therefore being a boring day. Hahaha! Heard it on radio which got it from a survey done in dunno what country.

I went to work on New Year's Eve on the 31st of December 2009(Duh!?) And of course it is so much better than doing Guard Duty on New Year Eve doing the freaking countdown with my Rifle. I did two flights on New Year's Eve, BA15 and EK404 since QF 10 was canceled. The boring part? I had no package to send. First time ever I came to work with nothing to do. Hahax Went in the gate hold room to talk to the DFS guy just to waste some time.

2007 was one of the best years yet but half of it was taken away. 2008 was the worst year ever. Had the worst Birthday, the worst New Year. Attended NDP though... But it still doesn't change the fact that its the worst year so far. 2009 was great as I got to celebrate my 21st twice and I made lots of new friends in school! Young Friends! Hahahax!

2010 shall be a great year! Hope to attain my Class 2B and 3 License by this year and if possible own a bike! If the world end in 2012 at least I'll get my diploma before I die! I hope... Hahahhaha

2 weeks into holidays

It has been 2 weeks into the school holidays and I'm so glad it isnt as no life as my other school holidays so far. Haha I skipped the last day of school on the 14th for the year to go for my company's lunch buffet at Crowne Plaza Airport. Well its a Monday. I bet most of my classmates did not go to school! The food there was great! And its nice to have all the Terminal 1 Runners gather together for a nice lunch! Hahax.

Well the only thing different in this meet up compared to the others we had so far is that Roy has finally ORDed! Like 2 weeks ago? Hahahax We had a long dinner after that we went over to Iluma to have some fun with L4D2. We went back at around 2 and I freaking reached home almost 4. Freaking Punggol is so inaccessible. Cant wait to pass my 2B and get a bike man!

Decided to sleep instead of staying up to do. My PPT was the best and I believe my team can get A. But since I didnt do my RJ... I just threw my A away for yesterday. Well, there are 5 more lessons for me to earn my A. Hahax

I just realized that from yesterday's lesson that by taking other people's RJ to submit as your RJ us a form or plagiarism. Even if you copy your RJ from one module to another is a form of plagiarism also. By giving others your own RJ is considered assisting in plagiarism. Hahax I didnt know that till yesterday! As long as no copy and paste is done, it should be fine.

The cars are cool eh? Haha! We are tasked to make a solar car in one day for Engineering Design today with only very limited items given. Not even the most important thing in crafting, any form of adhesive or tapes. Well we stoned for one whole meeting, started discussing a bit for the second meeting and rushed the third meeting to create our 'Ninja Turtle' Solar Car. Well we managed make one of the fastest Solar car in the class. Hahax

There was Cognitive UT2 Today and I believe I am gonna flunk it well. First UT so far that I could not finish. Well I hope moderation well get me a good grade. Hahax

After the UT we had Adventure Learning. Most of my class went. Only about a handful didn't. It was fun to have almost the whole class going. Though all we just did was abseiling, the class bonding we had for that mere few hours was great. Suddenly I cant wait for my Class Chalet! Hahax

Wanted to come early to school today so I force myself to leave early. Damn accident at TPE and a bus broken down at SLE, with my bus having to pick up the passengers made me late for 5 mins and got me marked late. Shouldn't have woken up early today.

After going through today’s lesson, what concerns do you have about expressing your thoughts in public and how will you address these concerns?

Answer
After going through today's lesson, I realised that there are more to just knowing your audience when it comes to expressing my thoughts in public. There are other concerns about the audience we have to look into before we go around expressing our thoughts to them.

There bound to be certain things in the content of our thoughts that can seem totally harmless yet hurtful to others. That is when the emotions of the audiences come into consideration.

Somehow it seems like every single flaw in expressing one’s thoughts to the public amounts to the audience’s feelings. We all know very well that when it comes to the public, it is best not to hurt the audience in any way or the impact on you can be very unpleasant. Do not underestimate the power of public complains.

At times when expressing my thoughts, it requires me to take sides. When that happens, it is inevitable that everyone would be biased on one view over another. Biasness can result in triggering my audience’s emotion.

The best way to avoid any form of misunderstanding that would lead to hurting the audience’s feelings would be to phrase my words well in a nice structured manner with a proper flow of content to my audience. Though we may be bias on one view, phrasing words properly can give an impression of being neutral.

When sharing personal views, we have to be careful not to say or write something that may be offensive to others. We can be offensive to other indirectly as we tend phrase a sentence so harmlessly and yet when being read as a whole, it can interpreted as something offensive. Like how it seems better to phrase sentences in a way to show that we are trying give a suggestion instead of trying instruct the audience to follow the steps on how you want them to do it.

Cognitive lesson today was about Systematic Experiment and the requirement the day was to explain Systematic Experiment and to do one experiment applying the Systematic Experiment concept. My team decided to do the experiment of popping the popcorn using radiation from our cellphones. Well apparently it did not work. So we decided to do up a video of different methods to popping the popcorn. The last the class saw us was in the toilet trying to pop the popcorn and after 15 mins we came back with our popcorn popped and ready to eat. Since we were the last team to present, we kept the class in suspense of how we got the popcorn popped until we presented on our slide. Well, the class was trying very hard to guess what method we used since they were trying to guess what we did while we were at the toilet. Hahaha!

Question
In your daily communication with your parents, what do you think is the greatest noise/interference that you encounter? What do you think you can do to minimize the interference?

Answer
In just one simple communication with our parents, it is inevitable that communication noise will disrupt proper flow of communication between my parents and myself.

One of a simple example would be Physical Noise where sounds around me would distract me or my parents from having an effective communication.

Another would be Semantic Noise where either my parents or myself would use Terminology which will confuse one another. For example if I am having a conversation with my Father and we use Engineering Terms, we can understand each other clearly. If I were to have the same conversation with my Mother, She would barely understand half of the terms that I use.

The one greatest Noise/Interference that I encounter applies to everyone else too. It is beyond any doubt, the one ultimate Communication Noise that everyone would have when having a form of communication with parents. The noise I am referring would be the Psychological Noise where our mind would wonder, thinking about anything and everything except the content of the current communication. Usually occurs when our parents nag at us. Can't deny that fact though.

When there is a problem, even if we can’t solve it at least we could minimise it. Physical noise can be easily minimised by simply a switch of location where nothing else distracts proper communication or by pausing and allow the distraction to be over before continuing on the communication proper. Semantic Noise can be minimised by understanding the audience first before using certain terms which could be confusing. Or use easier terms to explain the terminology. As for Psychological Noise, there is no definite solution to this though, it is very much up to the individual whether or not you want to listen to the Communication.

Well said in your RJ. Indeed, psychological noise is the most difficult to overcome. There is little that we can do to ensure that others would not be prejudice, for instance.

Hence, we should always try to reduce the noise whenever we can. Being more aware is a good start.

UT week

Quite a short week this week. UT made it seemed long. All the UTs are over except for Communication UT. Sure fail! Never bothered to study any of them UTs. Cognitive UT was ok, Engineering Design UT was ok too. Did it chop chop and left the test early. Physics and Maths UT cannot make it.

Taufiq got a job in the airport at Terminal 3 under DFS. Friday I went over to Terminal 3 from Terminal 1 to disturb him. Hahax Wasted he wasnt in Terminal 1. If not can disturb him everyday. Hahaha

Saturday I met my old friend Ramesh in the Airport. It was a coincidence that he was taking the flight that I was sending my package to. He was my ITE classmate who is a Warrant Officer in the Air Force sponsored by SAF to study for 2 years. I met him at NDP a few times, called him by name when in uniform and no one dare said anything. Hahax Apparently he was flying to Adelaide for an exercise.

Cant wait for the holidays to come. Bored of going to school already. Haiz... I miss W14P

Some how it seems that the facilitator wants to utilize every drop of our brain juice by setting the kind of RJ questions we all are receiving so far. Question:
What have you learnt about visual design and/or infographics? How will you use this new knowledge to help you with your class presentations?

Answer:
Having gone through more into details of visual design and inforgraphics, I start to understand why there are some Visual Designs I see outside which can catch my attention very well and sometimes I get drawn to it subconsciously. Apparently I has got something to do with the principle of Design.

Six main principles which are very much the important guidelines used for putting different elements together to form an effective communication to the audience.
One of which is the Contrast, where images and colors are well used to help bring out the details of the design.
Next would be balance where the designs will either be axial or asymmetrical which makes the design seemed equally arranged on both sides on an imaginary axes drawn in the center.
Following on, having the right Proportion helps establish visual weight and depth in the design where pictures can be used as a tool to help bring out the focus of the design.
Spatiality is one of the important element in pictorial design as somehow, its seems like people often associate large open spaces with wealth and more towards to high-end side. Having a lot of white spaces gives the impression of luxury while small and cramped spaces are very much the opposite.
Next there is Focus, which is the point where the eyes of the audience are drawn towards first. One factor which can help makes the audience give a second look after the first glance.
Finally having the right direction allows the reader to follow through the design smoothly in a certain direction so that the reader does not get confused on where to focus on.

Having gained this new knowledge would be very useful if I were to apply it to future use and even my class presentation. Putting images to back up the text that I use, having as little information as possible but at the same time not losing its purpose. If applied correctly, I may even let my slides do the 'talking' instead of my team members and myself.

As of 3rd, I can safely say I have Retired From Smoking (RFS, I call it. Wana gave me created the term though. Hahax) On Monday night after school I went to meet my old buddy Shamir to spam on cigarettes. Chain all night and after that declare ourselves non-smoker. Hahax Its been like 5 days and I don't even feel the slightest desire to smoke. I never knew that to quit smoking is so easy. All thanks to the book Shamir Introduced me. Great book! Hahaha Anyone who wants to quit smoking can come and ask me. I'll help you no problem! (Macam Paham) Hahaha

The shops in Terminal 1 Airport is shifting here and there. Perfume and Cosmetics, where I am working at, moved over on tuesday. Good thing I wasn't working than. The new shop damn small. I mean the are where we usually lepak at, the Storeroom or the Rest area behind. Now that we have moved there is no nice place to relak. Damn!! Yesterday had 2 flights delay and I have 2 hours plus of free time till the next flight. Damn bored! But still it doesn't change the fact that working there is fun!

W14P Ice Skate again!!

W14Pians went Ice Skating yesterday! I never thought that the plan might get carried out. Recently we planned quite a few outings but all RPM. Cannot make it. This one managed to get to go on as planned. Hahax All of us met at about 3 plus and went to Kallang Leisure Park for Ice Skating. We had loads of fun although not everyone made it.

After Ice Skating I went to meet my old friends Shamir and Desmond. Syeikh followed along since we were going to Shisha. We went to Old Changi Hospital after that. It was just random that they suddenly wanted to go there. Hahax Syeikh went back from there after exploring OCH a bit. I chilled with Shamir and Des for awhile and had some supper before we went back

Airport pass

Finally! After working for 2 months I got my Airport Seasonal Pass! Saves me the trouble got going to the damn pass office to change pass. Hahax I did not went to school today. Morning I went for Bike Practical 8. Failed it. Damn! Not familiar with route. After that I went to Airport Police station to get my pass done with Joshua and Veto my Colleagues.

Yesterday while I was working I met my BMT platoon sergeant PS Choo! Meet him in terminal 1 departure hall. Apparently he is flying off to Germany, transiting from Paris. I thought it was for leisure since he was taking Air France. Actually it is a 2 months Leopard Tank Course. Well it does not really concern me though... So much better to be a civilian than a soldier! Hahax

Jalan Raya 09 with SC Mates!

This has been the third Jalan Raya I have attended with my SC mates and the food never fail to satisfy me!! Hahax Though the group this year is quite small, but the fun was great! I went to meet Nana, Diana and Farid at Admiralty MRT at 12 before we head over to Aizat & Izhar’s house first. Aizat rented a lorry where we all can just enjoy the wind behind. We have a drink and watch TV at their place for a while first before we walk over to Jack’s place which is just one block away. His house was like a karaoke place. Had the amp pumped up with the microphone and everyone tried singing a bit. They made me sing Tragedi Oktober also. Pai Seh sia!! Damn the food at Jack’s Place was great! (His house not the restaurant)

After that we head over to Farid’s place. His mom cooked also. So we ate there too. The Nasi Briani was great! Had like 2 servings! Hahax After that we went to Nana’s place. There was food there but I didn’t eat. Was quite full then and I was trying to save my stomach for Diana’s house. Hahax We sit down for awhile and head off to Ami’s place. There was food there and I was surprised that Ami actually cooked half of them. Ami joined us from there and we went to Arsyad’s place. The last place at Diana’s house was the house we never failed to go for the pass two Jalan Raya. Damn the beef there was fantastic! If I was hungry I would have finished the whole bowl! Hahaha!

Had a great deal of fun with them. It’s a waste the rest couldn’t make it.

One week with my new class W36K

Now that the new semester has started, everyone has changed class. My new class is W36K. Comparing the First day I had in W14P and the first day I had in W36K, the feeling was totally different. In W14P everyone was very keen on knowing each other, exchanging numbers and msn all. Unlike my new class in W36K, everyone seemed to be in their own world. We only talk to each other when are working to solve the problem. Well I don't blame them. We are so attached to our previous class that everyone is very much ignoring our new classmates

Having one week of the second semester over, we got to know the facilitators taking us through our 15 weeks. Seems like we are having a Gay yet sadist faci for Communications, Strict Faci for Cognitive, some quite faci for engineering design, young and nice faci for maths and a faci who talks and yet no one understands what she is saying for Physics. With that I'm already looking forward to the next semester already... Haiz...

I realized that there are quite a number of people in my class who have finished NS already. I don't feel as old as I was in W14P. Hahax One guy was from 2nd Infantry and one who is a Recce Scout. I'm not sure if there are anymore but time will tell.

Quite satisfied with my first week's daily grade though. Got B for comms skills and Maths, A for cognitive and C for engineering design. Physics isnt out yet. Damn I hope I can do well for engineering design... I suck at design and shit. Plus my faci is a quiet kind. Engine Design is starting to remind me of Programming of last semester. Damn it better not be!!

8th Blood Donation

Went for Blood Donation on Wednesday and that makes my 8th Blood Donation! 2 more and I will reach ten. They ought to give me a medal when I reach ten! Hahahax

Saturday my W14P classmates had an open house. Syeikh asked my to come along so I tagged along to have a little visit. Hahax Only a few of us was there, Syeikh Azfar Azlan and I. Well Faiz was with us. He may not be our classmates but he is our friend! Hahax Had quite an amount of fun than! Its been a while since I met my classmates.

Finally the Holiday has ended! Monday school starts! I've decided not to skip the first day of school! If they make some kinda introduction thingy than I will skip the first the day of school for subsequent first day of the semester!! Wander what kind of classmates I would have in my new class of W34K! Looking forward to meeting them all!

Geez! Seems like I haven't been blogging for about 2 weeks already. Nothing much to write in this no-life holiday though...

Well firstly I would like to wish everyone Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!! Yes I know I am late well at least better than never! Hahaha I joined my friend Asyik for his little Jalan Raya to his Cookhouse auntie's house, his auntie's house and finally to his friends house. He dun wanna go alone so he asked me along. Jalan Raya with SC friends is gonna be in October. I hope I get to take off than!!

The results for my first semester is out! I was hoping I could score higher though... Well at least it wasn't disappointing. GPA 3 for the first semester sounds ok with me. But I was hoping for at least a 3.5 Considering my first semester's attendance... Well I'm quite satisfied. Hahax Gotta work hard the next semester! The power of wayang I learned for last 2 years wasn't in vain!! Damn I miss driving the tank...

Happy 21st Birthday to my company medic Yik Loong! He celebrated his birthday on the actual day which falls on the Friday. He held a chalet in Coasta Sands. Quite a few of us came and we had a nice time catching up. Some of them Studying either University or private school. Some of them working already. Only one poor guy still serving NS. Hahahax Nice to see everyone still doing well.

A week with absolutely no life

Havent been updating for quite some time already... Got people start pestering me to update my blog already. Well... A whole week with absolutely no life... What to write??? Hahahahax I very much spent the whole week either Fish a Fishing or Ghost Trapping. Accompanied by watching some movies. Totally no life. Well at least I did something today. Hahax

Yes Ah! I passed my Pract 7! The 2 instructor give chance. We were suppose to go road 2 rounds. First round the Instructor will lead and the next round we have to go ourself with the instructor following behind. Since the traffic was heavy, we went only one round. I would honestly say our performance was quite bad! Especially mine! Hahax Check wrong blind spot all. Hahaha Still they give chance and pass us! Next up, circuit revisions before Pract 8 and once it is cleared, TP!!!

Morning I went to the Army Open House with my buddy Yang Hui. We both signed up for the CE tour for 2 reasons. For the CE points and to make fun of those people there. Wahahaha! I'm so bad! Its a waste I didnt get to see any familiar faces. The Open House was held at Pasir Laba Camp at where SISPEC is. Well it seems like they have faced out the SM1 and the M113 tanks already. My batch was indeed the last batch. Hahax Went to check out the Lepoard Tank. So much space! Well who cares? ORD LOH!

Sunday was my friend Aizat's 23rd Birthday! Took MC from work just to attend his birthday... Hahax! We celebrated his birthday breaking fast at Amirah's Grill with a buffet. It was somewhere in Arab street. Its been a long time since I met them and taking that MC was worth it! Hahax

Before going to Aizat's birthday surprise, I went to study for Monday's Maths UT at Pasir Ris Library with Syeikh Iwana and Iwani. The few little hours spent there studying was how much I studied over the weekends for the UT. So dont expect any good grades for my UT3! Hahax

Monday was Maths UT and like Science UT, most of what I studied for did not come out. If I had known I dont waste my time studying. Hahaha

Tuesday's UT was the ultimate UT that most or maybe even all of us will do really badly for. And thats Programming UT! I spent the night before Fish a Fishing away. No point studying. There is nothing in programming to study and I have no Idea who came out with the damn idea of having test for Programming.
After the UT, a few of us decided to lepak. But before that Syeikh wants to go Fujitsu. We went to the one at Science Park Road II but it wasnt there. Have to go Henderson road. We follow Lan untill he got lost. Hahaha Well it was fun on the road though. James cant seems to satisfy his stomach. Hahaha
We went to Yishun Safra to do a bit of bowling I gave the 2 of my safra card and he didnt notice that the name for both the card is the same. Hahax James did a stunt while we were bowling too. He was overjoyed due to his strike, he made a victory pose and BOOM! He fell on the ground! Should have recorded it down man! Damn!!

Firstly, I would like to wish my classmate, Jia Hui, Julie wannabe, Happy Birthday! Its on Facebook if you are wondering how I know.

It has been 3 days into the UT week. 3 UTs are over and 2 more to go.
UT 3 Started off with Enterprise on Wednesday. Didnt really study much for it though, only briefly read through the topics. Well at least the Test wasnt very hard. Quite a number of multiple choice, a few fill in the blanks and 2 open ended question. Enterprise UT was quite a morale booster. After 1 hour of UT which ended at 12, a few of us went to Pasir Ris library to study for Science. Most of us end up using Facebook or Football manager. Hahax Well at least I got to learn some stuff. Went to work after that. Since my MP3's battery is flat, I studied in the bus on the way back. My laptop's battery was almost flat than.

Thursday's Science UT was terrible. Went all the way to Pasir Ris to study. Late for work. Mugged in the bus with a low batt. None of what i studied came out for the UT. FML. One and a half hour of Science UT was crazy. Lots of calculation that does not makes sense. I would be real glad if I even score an E for Science. After the UT, we went for lunch at Causeway point and since Science was such a huge disappointment, most of them did not wan to stay behind to study for Cognitive UT. Besides, what is there in cognitive to study? So the rest of us went to Woodlands Library to study. As usual we Facebook all the way. Managed to read through abit of the cognitive notes though. I rushed the rest of the Topics at home instead. I tried to resist my bed but in the end, I gave in at the last minute. Cannot tahan. Sleep is more important than studying! UT start than panic. Hahax

Friday! Yesterday's Cognitive UT almost had my Fingers Immobilized. One and a half hour of intense typing. The whole class was filled with the typing sound. Hahax Well the test wasnt very hard though. Its just so full of open ended questions. Good thing my Fingers didnt fail me. Well my brain almost failed me. It was a beautiful morning until i headbutt the edge of my cabinet. What a way to start my morning. I was reaching my cup from the corner of the table and I hit the edge of my top cabinet. Some of what I studied yesterday got drained out after the knock. Its so sweet of my classmates to be so concerned, one by one started ask what happened with a shocked face. But in the end? All started disturbing me. Hahax Thats why I enjoy being in this class! After the UT we all went to Jalan Kayu to have lunch. After that we went to lepak at SengKang Sports stadium's Mac. Actually wanted to go to the park and lepak. But it was raining. So we change location. Hahax Since Iskandar was driving, easy lah. Haha It was fun hanging out with them.

Today was the last lesson for the First Semester in RP. Its science today so I decided to take my time and go to school late. I went there about 45mins late. When I sit down its just nice for break. He marked me present at first than go back he mark me late... Damn!
We created a note about first impression when we came into class and start tagging one another. We spent the rest of the day tagging here and there. Taking pictures here and there too! Hahax After class I went to study with Syeikh Yurong Wana and Wani. At first want to go the CC there to study so we ate Canadian pizza first. In the end, Wana laptop got problem, we had to U-Turn and go back to school IT helpdesk. End up we study there. At least it was not wasted. Managed to learn how to do the damn calculation for the Money Sense shit.
Now I am overflowing my brain juice trying to squeeze everything now by reading the notes Farah made and the 6Ps. I miss this last minute Mugging Feelling! Its been like 3 years since I had last mugged for an exam. Ahahahahax ALL THE BEST FOR UT3!!!

Today's lesson as usual is the least favorite among everyone in class. Programming. We planned since last week that we are going to attend class for the first meeting and disappear after that. Hahahax We did as planed. We went to causeway point, the whole lot of us leaving 4 students in class. We had a nice breakfast and Caught the movie "Where got ghost". Its Lame, Funny, Not-So-Scary, Interesting and a bit boring all at once. Had quite a great deal of fun hanging out with my classmates! Tomorrow will be the last lesson for semester and its change class after that. Sad sia! I think I might write a short summary about my class after the Final UT. Look out for it!

Thursday was the last week of Cognitive Module. We get to form our own team for that day and call it our dream team. Most of us are lazy to move. So those who come late just join which ever team they like. At first I was lazy to move. But when I took a look at who joined my group... Well not being lazy for once is a good choice. So I joined Syeikh's group. Hahaahax At least in that team got Syeikh, Jia Hui, Imee and Azlan. All power members. Hahax Our Facilitator had $75 worth of class fund to use for our class and we decided to use it for Pizza over lunch. Ordered Canadian Pizza and all of us had a great deal of fun then. Its a waste that quite a number of our classmates did not come.

After School I went to work. My second day of Orientation at the Airport. I'm getting use to the place and procedure there. The environment there is great! Especially inside the departure hall! Hahax The system was down and I had to wait for my supervisor to come and help me exchange my pass. Haiz troublesome. Gotta wait for a month plus before I can get my permanent pass. By then even arrival hall I can go also. Hahahax Cant wait!

I always suck at U-turns. Be it car or bike. Haiz... Friday I had pract 7 where it requires U-turn. The first time I did U-turn driving a car, my car swerve left and right after I complete the turn. Haha. For bike, I did my turn too wide... Haiz... Almost got creamed by a taxi on Friday some more. I was attempting lane changing than. I checked my blind spot it was clear. When I was a bout to make the turn the damn Mercedes Taxi Speed pass me. If I were to complete the lane change or even halfway there I would have been blogging this in the hospital. Well thank God I am blogging at home instead. Hahahax Borded at home. Good thing I didnt get creamed but it was a bad thing to get fined in the afternoon. Damn that fat Tamila NEA

Well its National Day! Too bad I couldn't get the pass to sneak in. Didn't watch the parade on TV either. Sick of Tanks. Spent the whole morning packing my room. Still got stuff not yet unpack after I move over.
After so many months since I jogged, I jogged for 40mins continuously. Damn it was fun. Hahax Ran one round around Punggol and ended the run at SengKang Swimming pool there. Should have at least clocked 6km. Gotta train up more. Have to clear IPPT soon!

Enterprise 14

So fast this week is the 2nd last week we are gonna be as W14p. Had enterprise module today with a good start. Being assigned the scribe I did my best. So glad to have B for PDT and I believe we did well for our worksheet. But I believe today's grade gonna suffer due to our PPT... Hahahx I took my time to eat during lunch and even went outside of school to lepak. Leaving poor Taufiq with Huifen and Junfei in our group. Hahaha Honestly speaking I did not understand today's topic. I did not research on anything for today's PPT. Just take from teammates and whack one times good PPT up and became the first to upload the PPT. So honored. Hahaha But when presentation come paiseh. Since I dont know anything about today's topic, I am unable to Macam Paham when the Faci asked questions. Haiz... Think get D ah today.

Some of the UT 2 grades are out and apparently the trick to get A in UTs is to sleep during the test itself. I did not study for any of them UTs. With only 45 minutes to do the test and having slept 22mins through the Science UT, I should get anything below C and I have no Idea how in the hell I got an A. Programming I only answered like 9.5 our of 40 marks correct. They gave me C for that. I think this UT they give chance. I hope UT 3 also they will give chance! UT3 will be the first time I am attempting to take a Test while fasting!

Last day in Chai Chee

Treasuring my last moment staying in Chai Chee now. Wasted the whole to the Saturday shifting my stuffs from Chai Chee to Punggol. Punggol is so damn in accessible. And I am 2 practical away to TP before I get my License. Arrgghh!! Need to get my own transport fast!

This is gonna be like my last one month with my class of W14P. 3 more weeks of lessons and UT3 is here. I dun wanna change class sia! W14P is so fun! Great bunch of classmates. Friday there was a gig at my school. Ignite!! Where some local bands will perform for 2 days. Friday and Saturday. I stayed behind for 2 reasons. One is to take some pictures and practice on night shots. Second is to check out the gig itself! I didn't expect local band to be so cool! One of the band's lead singer looks and sound damn familiar. I could have sworn it was Fitri I knew from ITE. But I dunno if it is her. Maybe she is? She introduced herself to the crowed as Fit. The gig was great! But the sound engineers should work on their sound check. The sound wasn't well balanced out. Especially the drums. Never control the volume properly. Who cares if the performance is good? Hahaha!
I stayed till around 8 before I went off to have dinner with my old Buddy TBX. By doing that I abandoned my classmate Farah there... Hahax Sorry Farah!

Just came back from a run at Bedok Reservoir. So glad that although I lost my stamina, I still have my endurance! I managed to run at least 2.5km non stop. Damn shag but it felt great after slacking for so many months. Damn my pull ups drop a lot. Now only can do 3. Sadded sia.
Yesterday I finally passed my Practical 6! Was the only one in my group to pass. Hahax

Today's lesson was Enterprise and the topic was something about interview. So we all had to wear formal. 5 groups in a class. Group one did a presentation and the reminding 4 did interview among each other group. Was quite a fun day! Wasted 2 person had to go back halfway and 1 person did not come. If not can have a full class photo. And one guy spoiled the day by not wearing formal to class. Damn its fun to be in this class!

Finally! UTs are over! Never study a single one of them UTs. All last minute panic during test. Over all the hardest test will be programing. Somehow I can write a program without a problem. But Test or quiz I cannot do. Haiz... Fail ah confirm. What ever ah I don't care. Attendance rabak already.

Friday was programming lesson. During Lunch Half the class went to causeway point for lunch. We all just go back class late only. Dun care. The teacher even call me but I never pick up. Hahahax At least the malay boys got excuse can say they go mosque. Well anyway we went back class as normal and do our work. So glad my programing group changed. My previous group cannot make it. Every time have to solo. If got James never mind. He never come I bored big time. My new group quite fun. Not bad got interesting people. Hahax

Riding on the road is not an easy thing to do! Went for Pract 6 on Friday night. Night time some more. It was fun but a lot of things to remember! Damn road condition so complicated. So different for driving a car. Haiz. Never mind Wednesday I'll do better!

2 Years since my enlistment

Today marks exactly 2 years since I enlisted into 40 SAR. I ORDed in may and it has been 2 months since. Entered the Army without any regrets. Left Army without looking back. 1 Years 10 Months was hell. Been working on a long summary of my NS life in 40 SAR. Will release it next year, one year after ORD. I'm a slow writer so forgive me. Hahax. Well apart from that. Today there was enterprise UT. The last enterprise UT I did it anyhow. I missed like 3 lessons and I couldnt do more then half the question. Since it was pretty much general knowledge so I just whack and answer. Surprisingly I got a B+ for that. Never study. Panic only when the test starts. Did the same for today. Never study. Panic when I open the test. Hahax
Science lesson today was ok. Some times of the week team members are fun. Like today's science team. Some days are just damn boring. Like say programming? Well at least I'm in the class of W14P! Federer No.1 Again

4 Hours and Finally Roger Federer got back his tittle of world No.1 again. I watched the match all the way till 2am. Freaking rally the way. The last set can only end with anyone who wins by 2 sets. With both Federer and Roddick keeping their service games, the rally lasted till 16-14 when Roddick failed to keep his service game. Clearly Federer is better at keeping his service game. Never got to see so many service ace in one match. Was a great match though. Totally worth sacrificing my sleep. (Had 2 years of training).

Yessah!! Finally! After one damn week of e-learning at home due to home quarantine of all year one students, school is finally opened again for us to study in class! E-learning is a lot more troublesome compared to doing work in class. Have to log in morning same time, discuss on the work, get the work done and submit it only. Only difference is we have to do it individually instead of in groups while in class. Well, its not totally bad being quarantine at home though... I woke up at around 6:30am, log in to the server and go back to sleep. So when attendance is marked mine will be present. Hahaha! Discussion is in mass conversation in MSN. Interesting way to conduct a class... Did my Pract 5 on Wednesday. After 5 attempts I finally passed. Damn circuit analysis. One small mistake leads to Immediate Failure. Well I found the trick to passing. It is to have a good meal before the pract. Hahaha

Home Quarantine

Damn it sucks to be asked to stay at home and not go school. When my school Hit 9 cases of H1N1, they decided to Quarantine everyone. From what I know, they asked all year ones not to come school from Thursday onwards till a week later. Classes will be conducted at home. We have to do the usual group work in school individually when at home. 5 person work have to do alone now. And to be submitted at a time given. Have to rush all the shit in the morning at home alone. Damn I cant wait until the unquarantine us man! Wanna go to school! Sucks to be quarantined at home.
I watched Transformers II on Friday. Great movie! Had to wait freaking 4 hours for the damn movie. All the tickets were sold out. Left the one at midnight... Hahax

First week to class after vacation

2 weeks of holidays took its toll man! Sleep so much within the vacation. And when I go to class I feel so sleepy. I never felt sleepy in class since I started school man! And now ever lesson so far I have doze off for a while when either my classmate or the teacher is making a speech. Hahax! Opps! Sorry! Well apart from putting the holidays to blame, the lessons was boring too. Heck! Monday was Science and its about chemistry again. Dont understand a single shit. And RJs... Arrgghhh!! I Hate RJs man! Soon Seng's 22nd

Today is my platoon mate Soon Seng's 22nd Birthday. We celebrated on Saturday instead. There was a plan to celebrate ORD at DBL O on Saturday night. Our Medic Yi Xiang, Kumaran, Soon Seng and I met up for dinner at Clark Quay before going there. We had dinner at some Japanese restaurant and since Kumaran forgot to bring he memory card for his camera... We could only take 2 pictures. Well 2 is better then None. Hahax We reached DBL O at around 10 since we waited for Manickam. We met Roy there and to our disappointment not many came. And since we were quite reluctant to Club as it is not what we enjoy doing, we went back Clark Quay to chill. Like what Kumaran said. Though it may be our weekend wasted, it is Roy's one weekend Burnt. Poor Roy ORD in December. Hahax Hope Soon Seng enjoyed his birthday though!

7th Blood Donation

Six times I have donated blood so far before today. The last was at 27th December 2008. First time was in school at ITE Tampines of the year 2006. Subsequently I did the rest at HSA Blood Bank. Procedure very simple. Anesthetic followed by the big needle for drawing blood. The anesthetic usually hurts a little and after that you will feel nothing when the big needle is in your hand.
Today I went for the 7th time for blood donation. The person who inject the anesthetic did not hurt as much as it suppose to. And as I expected, the anesthetic did not work. Probably she did not pump the anesthetic in. Only poke the needle in my hand. And I can safely say I donated blood today without any anesthetic effect. Hurt big time man! Imagine a needle slightly bigger then a Yakult straw stuck in your vein for at least 10mins. Arrgghh!! Bloody hell. Just because I was a soldier but don't have to test me untill like that right?? Well anyway it was fun though. I was a waste since my school had a blood donation drive on 27th may. Wanted to donate with my class but all haven't 18. Haiz... Anyway I couldn't donate then. I extracted my wisdom tooth and can only donate after a month of extraction. And today is exactly one month. Hahaha

I'm so freaking glad I did not deffer my Diploma for a year! In exchange of starting school right after ORD I have to sacrifice 3 weeks of class attendance which ultimately will effect my grades big time. All was worth it to be in the class of W14P! Hahax
My class planned a class outing today and it was held at Kallang Leisure Park. Didn't know that that place actually exist. Hahax. Had a nice lunch there at KFC before one game of bowling. A game I suck in. Haha. The actual plan was Ice Skating which we was where we laughed big time. All of us was first time in Ice Skating. And only one person knows how to roller blade. Farah got he hang it real quick since she knew how to roller blade. The rest of us had our asses kissing the Ice on the floor. Hahax Never had so much fun and a good amount of laugh in a long time. Was really fun then. Took a lot of pictures. We even had videos. Farah will edit the video. When its done we will all have a good laugh at it. Hahax

Today 40 SAR Celebrates their 40th Anniversary. They had a parade in the morning before the dinner in the evening. I couldnt make it for the parade since I had class and apart from class I had a test after that. Programming test. Piece of cake. I went straight to the dinner right after the test. The dinner was held at the new Safra Jurong. Danm nice. Met a few old ORD buddies there and a lot of those who have yet to get back their precious pink IC. Haha Wasted man I missed the chance to meet my old PC Captain Martin. Damn he went off before I knew he actually came... Well at least the Dinner was quite a blast. Instead of the usual Buffet they did for the last 2 years, this time they made a 8 course meal instead. Where the hell they get their funding from... Hahax

FINALLY! After suffering for 1 year 10 months, I finally attained the status of NSman and got back my pink IC! Monday was an off day since Saturday was Vesak day. Monday night I book in for my ORD the next day. We had a bottle of Martell as a form of celebration. I ORD on Tuesday because I passed my NAFA test when I was in ITE. So as a enhanced batch I get to ORD earlier then those PTP batch. All those enhanced batch people got sabo that night. Even myself got carried, left at the toilet's bathing cubicle while I was high on alcohol and was splashed with soap water. Was fun though. Hahax Most of the rest got camo cream all over. So I kinda got the least damage among others. Hahax

Tuesday 12th of May 2009 is the day I ORD! I got my Pink IC finally! Freedom at last! But freaking hell my CSM hold us until evening and even asked us to throw rubbish after we got our Pink IC -__-" Well at least my last assignment for my PS was to fill his water bottle. Hahax Never know my Pink IC was so Pink!! Ahaha

Wednesday onwards I start going to class. It seems like class started to get interesting and I start enjoying lessons there. 2 years is a long time! Forgot everything that was thought when I was in school so I had problem with maths and science. Well at least Programming was kinda a piece of cake for me. It was similar to JAVA though. Hahax

Quite a week. One more week to ORD and Monday my leave got canceled just to come back for one final guard duty. Well since its the last duty I slack big time for my shift. Well you should know how to slack as a prowler and not get caught... Hahax

Tuesday we had some chop chop OC Change Of Command where Captain Ryan step down and Captain Yee takes over. Why is it chop chop? Instead of a parade it was held in the lecture room, have a little talk here and there, hand over, clap hand and that's it. As simple as that. Hahax

Wednesday was on off. Thursday got some stupid survey in the morning and I went for dental appointment in the afternoon to remove my stitches. Appointment was suppose to be at 3pm but I finished everything by 3. Left the camp at around 1 plus. Got my PS to sign the off pass before I wrote the timing. Hahax Went back home but forgot my damn keys... Chill with Shamir for a while before joining my camp mates for Nights Outs at Lot 1

Friday got some ORD talk at Sungei Gedong camp in the morning. Was so boring that I slept through most of the talk which lasted for at least 2 to 3 hours. After that I had to book in back to camp to get my FFI done. Good thing MO decided to see us. If not die, ORD sure extend. Had my dinner at Safra Tampine's Sakura with the best private Roy. Hahax Caught the midnight show for Wolverine after that.

Finally I'm left with single digit left to my ORD!!! Pink IC Here I come!!! WOOHOO!!!

New No.4 Uniform

The new pixelated uniform, which I belief most of the people would have at least seen it, noticed how ugly the damn uniform is. Well but the good thing is the material of the uniform. It is really light compared to the old one. The material feels comfortable thought. I have never tried it outfield so I don't know about that. The rank part for the uniform is totally stupid. Having the rank in front is less obvious compared to the old one. So its harder to see. Besides the side pocket is smaller and not the remove the ambulate part and because of that the beret had to be put in the pocket. I dont care man I'm so gonna put my beret on my chest where the rank is!

Monday I was on leave. I had a dental appointment and I managed to book Wednesday to have my wisdom tooth extracted. Tuesday I was supposed to be on leave but it has been canceled because we had to come back to collect our new uniform. After that I booked out with Glen for dinner before I met TBX for supper. And no I at only for dinner. Supper I only had a drink. Hahax

Wednesday I got my wisdom tooth extracted. My appointment at NDC was at 3pm. After all the registration and all it only started at 4. In the dental room, God knows what he did to during the extraction man! My eyes was covered, I don't feel a thing since the dentist jabbed me with 3 syringe of antiseptic. I hear drills, I hear cracking and I feel lots of pressure in my mouth, pushing and pulling. Well at least everything went well. 5 days MC. Saturday's Guard Duty was canceled for me. Hahax

Thursday there was an ECP run of 10km. I went there to show face and I regreted. 80% of my platoon did not come. Waste of time! I didn't even run also...

Dental FFI

One day in class and I'm sick of my school already. Now I know why people despise Republic Polytechnic... Damn boring to be studying in RP. Some times I would even think that Outfield is more interesting then class in freaking RP...

I couldn't take leave on Wednesday because there was suppose to be some talk. In the end it was brought forward to Tuesday and apparently it was some financial talk. If I had know I don't book in... Wednesday I had to clean the GPMG. It was dirty even though I didn't fire a single round... Good thing it wasn't that dirty. 1 hour of cleaning I went back to sleep. Hahax

Thursday most of us start returning our stuff to the store. Stuff that we draw from the store we had to return, signed and then when all is done we can find the CQ to sign the clearance. Stuff that we don't have we or lost, we go stun others. Thats what army teaches us. Selfishness. Hahax

Friday I had Dental FFI at Kranji Camp II. It was at 1030 in the morning. We took part in life run before we went and after we went, all of us went home. ORD coming. No one bordered to go back camp. Hahax Some no appointment also took off pass. Hahax

Saturday was the first time I ever entered Tampines One shopping mall. Quite crowded there. Lots of people. Some are gay. Dunno why so sway can get to see people who are not straight at shopping malls all. It was my friend Desmond's birthday. It was on Wednesday actually. $To celebrate the officer-to-be's birthday, we went Swensens for dinner and had a small cake with a birthday song. Courtesy of his Poly classmates. But alot of people try stunt to skip this outfield. Quite a number of people didnt go for this outfield and ended up we are really short of Soldiers for each platoon. I took the role of GPMG Gunner since One of my MG gunner went for operation while the other became a storeman. MG Gunner SHoik man! No need to dismount.

This outfield is by far the most relak outfield I've ever had. Laager no need to set up camo net since there isnt enough people. Order seafood from outside during laager somemore. Hahax People go for delay I dont have to dismount also. Damn shoik. Relak inside the vehicle. Hahax

ORD Brief ( Civilian Conversion Course)

Wah I didn't know even after ORD still got so many troublesome shit to do! Have to what? Go for ICT. In Camp Training. And on to of that have to freaking take IPPT every year! Cannot pass RT! What the hell man! Before ORD have to go online do some stupid stuff which I heard can take up to half a day... So troublesome sia just to ORD... We Serve already why cant they let us Fuck off peacefully??? All of us ORDing soon personal went for our ORD package, or what most ppl know as CCC, Civilian Conversion Course. Hahax We had a brief of what must be done before ORD, what cant be done, we even went to Maju camp to check out the IPPT shit we have to do after ORD...
Safra even came to psycho us to sign up for Safra member. At least 70% of us there are Safra members! Hahax Waste time.

Wednesday night I got to book out. Basket area cleaning I freaking clean the toilet alone! There was suppose to be 6 of us. But 2 doing guard duty. 2 Tamilas took off for some prayer thing. 1 guy ORD already and I'm the only person left... Good thing one other guy Soon Seng came and help me. Since they wanted a one times good area cleaning because of some inspection next week, We both whack the toilet 2 times for hours... Shack man!

Thursday I was on off. Too the chance to get my laptop since it was the school's last day for the roadshow. Went with my dad to get an ACER Aspire model. Nice design though. Never before have I been to a club... Rebel was the first. Hahax Was damn crowed everywhere.

Friday Celebrated my Medic's 21st Birthday. It was his actual birthday too! Made him drunk big time the day before. Hahax

Combat Shoot

At least finally there is something to do for a day in camp! Monday there was combat shoot for those who haven't took. I was suppose to do guard duty but I went to do ammo party instead. Had to wake up early in the morning at around 5 plus. My sergeant had to come up to my bunk and call me personally. Hahax

The rest of the week was as usual spent sleeping. Friday is an off day so everyone booked out on Thursday. I took half off on Thursday and left in the afternoon. After a few hours after I left the damn MPs came and raid our camp. Since we are all on ORD mood, a lot of shit happened. Good thing my company got source and message travel faster then the damn MPs can. Hahax

Saturday there was Student Council Chalet and Glendon's 21st Birthday BBQ. Both at Pasir Ris but its at two corners of Pasir Ris Park... Well I'm glad a lot of my friend drove there. Hahax

Sick Week

This whole week was sick. Monday night I got a slight fever. Tuesday morning I started having cough and eventually, the rest of the week I got a terrible flu. I sleep the whole week until Thursday and Friday I couldn't even sleep. Having a super slack week isnt totally good after all... Sleep so much at night cannot sleep. Hahax As the days draw nearer to ORD the longer it feels... 44 more days to ORD!! ARRRGHHHH!!!!

Life after ATEC

Now that ATEC Is over, nobody gives a damn bout anything anymore. Hahax It kinda start getting bored in camp. Everyday is like eat sleep shit eat sleep shit. Had two nights out this week also. Tuesday and Friday. They had SOC training for those who fail, live runs. Other then that the rest of the day is sleep. There are people who bring board games like Chinese chess, monopoly. The best I've seen so far us was Mahjong Set.

Next week should be the same... Eat sleep eat sleep. Gotta learn how to play the mahjong man...

Turned 21 Yesterday. Thanks everyone for the Birthday Wish! Had my Ear Pierced the day before my Birthday and Went out to chill with my camp buddies on my Birthday. All from my platoon. We met at City Hall, Ate at Marina Square's Pasta de Waraku, Have a little fun at the arcade and finally finished of a day with a bottle Chivas at Boat Quay Chamber bar. Damn Was I tipsy then. Hahax

I got myself enrolled a Ridiculous Polytechnic. Ironically, I condemned the school big time and yet I got myself enrolled in it... Haizz... Well at least I was interested in the course. In a way... Hahax

The Final Assesment, The last Outfield.

Finally... The last battle that we have been waiting for is now over. 3 day 3 night with 3 missions in total. Everyone spent our Monday and Tuesday preparing for outfield. Set of to Gedong on Wednesday morning. All the tes set all made our LBV damn heavy. They added in the stupid GPS thingy in our LBV. Well at least this outfield was the first every combat team outfield I ever had my LBV and Helmet off for so long. Hahax We started off with Laager and this is the first time ever my section no one did sentry for Laager. No one gave a damn. We even made friends with the umpire. Hahax First mission was a short advance mission. Died halfway through with my PC while trying to engage a group of enemies. After that the follow up of the first mission was 2 Live firing. One for a section and one for the survivors of mission one. Good thing I Died. Hahax

Second mission and the third was actually the same mission. They just transit over. This is the only time outfield Felt real enough. Hahax My platoon advanced to an axis, Captured the axis, Guarded it for at least 6 hours, moved to another near by axis and defended it for another few hours. Total we all defended the axises for a total of at least 13 hours.

Well at least it was an interesting mission. Getting ambush by a tank drive-by killing a quarter of my platoon and I managed to survive by hiding. I finally died along with my vehicle at the very last part of the mission while defending the axis at the back. My tank got blown while I was inside. Hahax

By Friday night was ENDEX. End Exercise. We stayed over at the urban training ground an went back on Saturday morning. We took a group pic before going back. Made an ORD Cheer too. Hahax Booked out on Sunday morning for a week of off! Shoik!

Short week. But it kinda feels long... Book in on Monday afternoon just to sleep the rest of the day away. I pretty much spent the whole of this week sleeping other people prep their vehicle atec next week. But since out vehicle is still down. SLeep only. The only thing I actually did was a 1.5km endurance ran with some static exercise. Simple shit. Thursday we all booked out since Friday was an off.

Friday I went CMPB for an X-Ray and at the same time visit my cousin there. Since I got a buddy driving I dropped by east coast too.

Saturday I celebrated my 21st Birthday in advance at a chalet at East Coast. I wanted to do it next week but I'm fighting Atec that weekend. In short it means I be spending next Saturday in the jungle. Well at least I get to clear off on my Actual birthday until the rest of the week. Hahax 74 More days to ORD!

Route March Outfield

This week may be quite slack since we spent most of our time sleeping, but we had our weekend burnt in exchange. Stupid turnout. Totally pointless

Monday we did a Route March of 10km Outfield. Well its pretty much the same as walking 10km of dismounted assault since we didn't carry field pack. Only rifle and LBV. After that we had the rest of the day to ourselves and we did what we do best in camp. Sleep!

Tuesday we spent the whole day sleeping, we had nights out since we weren't involved in marching in the COC rehearsal. I went to some LAN shop in Bukit Batok to join the rest in having some fun. Was the first time I tired Left 4 Dead. Hahax

Wednesday there was Brigade Commander Change Of Command Parade. It started in the evening. My company only some driver was involved in the parade. The rest of us extras wave at the outgoing Brigade Commander when he leaves. Hahax

Thursday we spent the whole day sleeping again. We even had nights out again. The commanders are having some cohesion in the evening and because of that they ask us to book out. Hahax

Friday we didn't get to book out because of the mock ABTF turnout. We did the full preparation except loading of ammo for the turnout. But the real ammo came. We just didnt load it. After we finally stand down, we got to book out on Sunday afternoon.
Total waste of a good weekend...

Total Defence Day

This week seems quite short. Monday I took MC so that I can apply JPAE at home. People take leave I take MC. My PS ask me to come back to endorse my MC but I dont give a damn. ORD coming. No one gives a damn anymore

Tuesday there was a Route March of 7.5km. Only a few took part. Quite a number of them, including myself. Did not take part. The Company 2IC gather us and ask us why we didnt march and we just tell him its pointless and we dont want to march. Like I said no one gives a damn anymore.

Wednesday morning 3km endurance run and as usual a lot didnt take part. I ran only 1km and I went back. Lazy to run. I took part just to show some face so that I can go nights out. But anyway everyone get to go for nights out.

Thursday I did Guard Duty. Wasnt fast enough so I ended up doing Sentry. Haiz quite boring doing sentry on a week day.

Friday was Total Defense day. There was some Victory Challenge at my camp and all those who did guard duty the day before had to take part. Means no guard rest... I had to take part in some telematch shit. Well my company did not win this time though. Well the only thing good was that we book out in the afternoon. At night I met my Shamir and some of his camp mates. Went to OCH for a little tour. Well... Nothing interesting happened though.

Saturday was one of my camp mate, Puven's birthday. He made a function at Yishun SAFRA. Apparently he spent a good 5000+ Organizing a function like this. Well at least it was quite interesting. Had fun though. But of all time he did it on Valentine's day...

4D3N FTX II

Last training before ATEC. The second last Outfield. The 4 Days 3 Nights 2nd Full Troops Exercise. 4 Missions in total. After 4 days I'm totally drained. My section's Vehicle did not move out since it's still at the workshop. So my section had to squeeze into Section 2 vehicle and 2 guys had to go platoon 10. The rest moved out on Monday from Gedong at 4pm. Had 4 missions to complete. One Advance Mission. One Mounted Assault Mission. One Night Advance Mission and finally a Delay Mission. Non of the mission we contact an Enemy. The 3rd day was the most tiring. Long walks with no sleep. After all was over Friday was pretty much a relaxed day. Breakfast no one bordered to wake up. Not one Sergeant came down to ensure also. Only some went for breakfast. Even I slept all the way to first parade. Hahax

Friday my platoon booked out early since they still owe us early book out.
3 More weeks and its ATEC. The final Outfield. And after that its ORD after 2 months. Now its 3 more months left. I'm starting to see the Light!!!

Chinese New Year!

Finally its the Chinese New Year! The long weekends! Was actually planning to go Malaysia with my relative but due to some mishap the plan had to be canceled... Two days of visiting of relative and enjoying great food instead of shitty camp food. And one day of rest from two days of holiday. Wednesday before I book in I started having fever. Thursday report sick have to go all the way to 4Sir at Lim Chu Kang Camp... Had Light Duties so I slept through the whole of Thursday and most of Friday. Booked out on Friday after that. There was some ADF Guy who camp to give a recruitment talk on Friday. Psycho us to join ADF and will get 18k all. After a good half to an hour talk. Not one person stayed to listen more. Hahax

Next week is FTX 2. And my vehicle is still at the workshop. Coz of that my section's vehicle is not moving out and the whole section have to freaking squeeze in the other section's vehicle... 4days 3night Outfield... Haiz... Hope I fall sick and get to fall out man... Sick of damn Outfields...

Coastal Hook & FIBUA Training

Quite a Tiring week this week. Dunno why they Cramp so many shitty training before Chinese New Year... Haiz...

Monday we had a little tour, NE Tour. We Separate Between Platoon to sit in different bus and went on a tour around the CBD area. We had a tour guide inside talking to us about some history. Feel pretty much like tourist. Hahax We went to places like the Supreme Court, Boat Quay area and some place where they held the planning for building up Singapore. I forgot the Place's name... We came back in the afternoon and slept the whole day through.

Wednesday we did our Coastal Hook Training. It was quite fun though, Sitting on the Engineer Boat going around. Hahax But Since we had to do night training and help Keep the boat, went reach back camp really late.

Thursday we still had to go for our Fibua training. We went there late in the morning till Friday morning. We practiced on team level to platoon level and we fight Tankees as enemies. This time is more interesting since we had Tes System mounted on us. So who kill who, who die or injured all will be reflected on out Tes System. It is then only we know how easy we can die in a Fibua assualt.

My platoon booked out a bit earlier then the other platoons on Friday. So I went to Devan's house to chill. Kumz came from home later to chill with us since Devan will be home alone anyway. Hahax Next week is Finally Chinese New Year! But after that its FTX 2... Haiz....

Chinese New Year Celebration

This whole week is pretty much spent sleeping all the way. With some route march on Monday morning. Tuesday there was a run but I went to report sick. Hahax Wednesday I volunteered for Guard Duty. Thursday we did some mass Area Cleaning. Friday was a half day and Saturday my camp had Chinese New Year Celebration.

They Organized the Celebration to be something like an Open House. The event starts at 10 and the made us book in at 7 in the morning. I did ushering from 9 to 10:30. No bad though seeing people of the public walking around in camp. Hahax Actually I got another shift at 12 but I didnt bother doing. Went to take a nap till 12 plus and sneak out of camp at around 1 plus. Hahax Dont care only. Going to ORD just bent every rule there is!

FTX - Full Troops Exercise

Well the good thing about having FTX is that it means ORD is coming soon. Hahax!!
Monday everyone was rushing here and there getting ready for the outfield on Tuesday. If you were there you can actually see the whole battalion running around getting their stuff done. And when it is, the whole battalion of vehicles were parked nicely at the parade square. Everyone was given nights out at night but the drivers and VC and Drivers had to low-load their vehicle to Gedong so they stayed. I'm broke so I stayed too. Ahahax

Tuesday we went to 46 SAR to prepare our vehicle and move out from there. The new recruits there all wearing the new uniform which looked like crap, looking at us doing our vehicle stuff. So fast they get to see a full ABG, Amour Battle Group. But too bad our vehicles we are using are all expired vehicle. They are all phased out and we are the last batch still using them.

Thursday evening we back for outfield. Cleaning our stuff chop chop and went to sleep.
Friday was for the first time I skipped breakfast lunch and dinner. Hahax Morning I slept through breakfast. Lunch I ate instant noodle. Didnt got cookhouse. Dinner I help with the damn vehicle untill I forgot bout dinner. Damn Brave company doing 4NTM and yet we have to do up the vehicle for them... Well anyway they are going through 4NTM on Chinese New Year. Hahax! See how they plan their duty!

Now whats left is FTX 2 and ATEC. Then its ORD!!!! 4 more Months to ORD!!!!

New Year 2009, Year of my ORD

Its the New Year!! 2009 Is here!! The year I'm gonna ORD!!! YEAH!!! 2008 was the worst year yet but 2009 is gonna be great I can feel it!!!

This week was damn slack. Monday to Wednesday some of us came back to camp either because they have no more leave or our PS didnt let them clear their off. My platoon had the least number to people for the three days. Hahax and for once in my platoon 9 life... Our platoon reported strength before the rest of the company fall in. Never happened before. For the three days we spent it sleeping in bunk. Sleep untill my whole body ache sia. 3 days eat sleep east sleep. Ahahax

Thursday was New Year! Dont have to book in at night so I went Shisha with Shamir's Friends. Great bunch of people!

Clear Leave

This whole week is mine! Clear Leave all the way. Had to go back camp on Tuesday for some Christmas Celebration... Dammit. Attempted to take MC but was called back. Almost made an AWOL case for myself... Hahax

Thursday was Christmas and I hope everybody had fun. Went for service to see some Christmas Drama. As usual the Act was Creative and Entertaining. Hahax

The feeling kinda suck when you are on leave and everyone else just got enlisted. Wanna chill with my buddies but all got enlisted into camp. Haiz... Well on the bright side... I'm left with Four and a half more months to go. Cant wait for my ORD date man! Freedom is calling!
